The difference between these two plans is $100 once I factor in the purchase of one mug for us to share, and paying for certain apps and meals oop. It's our first anniversary so Cali Grill and Citricos might be nice!

Option 1: Reg Meal Plan (what I have now)

Day 1:
CS lunch
Kona dinner (sticky wings oop)
Day 2:
Sci Fi Lunch (OOP)
Artist Point Dinner (apps oop)
Day 3:
CS lunch
Ohana dinner
Day 4:
Boma bkft (OOP)
Sanaa apps at lunch (oop)
CS dinner
Day 5:
CS lunch
Le Cellier dinner (app oop)
Departure day:
CS bkfast

option 2: DxDP- $100 more
Day 1:
CS lunch
Kona dinner
Day 2:
Kouzzina bkfst
Sci Fi Lunch
Artist's Point dinner
Day 3:
Liberty Tree Lunch
Citricos Dinner
Day 4:
Boma bkfst
Sanaa lunch
Cali Grill dinner and wishes
Day 5:
CS lunch
Flying Fish dinner
Departure day:
Snack bkfast

I'm basically trading Ohana and Le Cellier for Citricos, Flying Fish, and Cali Grill and adding two sit down meals plus an bunch of snacks, for $100. Kona and AP are must do's because they are DH's picks.

Thoughts?

My thought is this....which do you want to do?

I normally don't go for the signature, 2 TS places...just not my cup of tea so I would stay with the reg. plan.
Even for my anniversary I wouldn't go splurging. But $100 difference isn't that much if that is what you really want to splurge on for your anniversary, so to me it is just a matter of if you really want this to be a splurge or not.

Sorry can't be more helpful.

(my splurge would be to take that $100 and buy anything I wanted in the parks or DTD...now that would be my anniversary present to myself....lol)

I surprised my husband (before we had kids) with a weekend trip to Disney a few years ago. We had a blast! My food highlight was California Grill. Soooo yummy. I'm trying to find a way to go back to Disney in the next few months 'cause I preggers with twins and cannot get Cali Grill of my mind!!

I guess I was hoping people would tell me I was stupid not to upgrade :rotfl:

OR that Le Cellier and Ohana's were "can't miss" places- we haven't eaten at either

did you factor in the tax for the oop cost too? For an extra $100 I would do it. We like the signature dinners, we haven't tried FF but plan to in the fall, the other 2 are nice and we plan to go to again in April. We really liked Kona too, so I wouldn't give that up.

For 100 I would do it- but based on reviews we really want to try LeCellier and Ohana, personally I would add an extra break fast and use LeCellier for Lunch instead of CS.

Well since, CR is only in your plan if you upgrade, then I am most certainly telling you to upgrade :cool1:

We upgrade to Deluxe every year. Little things like the mugs and extra snacks add up and for the extra money for us it is well worth it.

And if I could do it for only a $100--there would be no questions!

Just do it:) That is my 2 cents anyway:)

Based on the options you have provided, I would suggest that you definitely upgrade. I don't know if the deluxe plan is right for us, but because you will be ordering appetizers either way, and are considering more than one signiture, etc; it sounds like it's right for you! I think the only way quick service or regular DDP's are worth it is if you can fit in everything you want without paying OOP for anything or for very little. One of the great things about the DDP is that you are virtually worry free when it comes to ordering, so paying OOP for that much seems to defeat the purpose. The only extra that I don't think has been mentioned is if you base your tip on % then you'll be spending more on tips at signitures. If this is your normal dining habit and you plan to stick with it while there, you may want to factor that into how much more the deluxe plan will be for you. With all that said, I would say to spend the extra and have a romantic and stress free vacation!
