My wife was the huge Disney fan of the family. We were the couple that spent much more money at the Disney store before we had kids then afterwards. Crystal ornaments, porcelin dolls, the huge VHS movie box sets. I even proposed to my wife during intermission at the Beauty and the Beast here in Toronto.

Unfortunately, my wife passed away Oct 16th, 2006 from melanoma at the very young age of 31, which was diagnosed 10 days before our twins were born. Our son is now 9, and the twin girls 6.

I bought our DVC membership with the last of her life insurance money, but would love to have some sort of memorial, like a plaque on a bench or something.

Is there anything currently at WDW or DVC that would allow me to do such a thing? It would be the closest thing to all of us being at WDW together.

There are tiles/bricks that can be purchased. Jenroc was a Canadian on the boards who passed last year and her friend had one placed in her memory.

Really? I never knew this. I was thinking about the things you used to be able to buy at Epcot, but I know that ended. I had no idea you could buy a brick or tile. Where are they placed? Do you get to pick the spot?

Click here to see what it looks like as she posted Jen's brick. This was at Disneyland.

The bricks are still available in Disneyland, but from what I've investigated, I cannot find any equivalent currently available at WDW.
