Just booked eurostar £176 return for 2 adults and 1 child, is this a good price?

got 7% off eurostar prices with thomas cook

that sounds about right too me. ive been looking at bookings and ive been quoted anything between £170 and £210 for 2 adults and a child.

I'm going the 8th till the 12th and that was the same price I was quoted over the phone with Eurostar - we've got a friend who works there so we're working on an upgrade of half price trip :rotfl2:

It's the same price as I would've orginally paid with my July trip so I'm happy with that :yay:

i rang eurostar and they quoted £190 so thomas cook did apply my discount correct, gota check these things :lmao:

when we were going on the 1st, i was quoted £190 return by eurostar then 3 days later it was £250!! apparently the seats were filling up fast but not sure i believe that they could sell out so quick prices would go up £60 in 3 days

The Cheyenne :lmao: Can't have a 14 year old and a 6 year old sharing a bed - and I'm no doubt going to have a little visitor at some point in the shape of my God-Daughter (and her brother and sister too :rotfl2:)!

Sometimes the price of the train does differ depending on what days you go (even if it's for the same amount of days). In July we orginally looked at a couple of dates, and to stay longer was cheaper :confused3

Just out of interest, did you pay a booking fee when you booked through Thomas Cook? Thomson book through rail Europe and a £20 booking fee is added for prices under £200, then £40 for above £200. Just wondered as we've not actually booked the train yet (though as I said we know someone that works there so am waiting to see what they can do first). would be good to know as we're going up tomorrow to see what can be done :thumbsup2

if you pay your deposit with your barclaycard they also waive the credit card transaction fee which is usually like 2.5%
