We were there in November and it was wonderful. I don't remember the time because we came back at a different time every day, but I'm pretty sure the sun was just starting to set when there seemed a lot of animals on our savannah (not anywhere near dark!) But there are three savannahs each on a different side of the building so I would suggest trying to see all three. Some animals stayed in a certain savannah and others chose to roam all three.

If security will let you in early, you might want to wander around first and make your PS for later.

Actually each ofthe three savannahs has it own set of animals, they can't roam between them. Now, some types of animals can be found on all three savannahs - such as giraffes. Zebras are only on the 'main' savannah with the larger gazelles. Smaller gazelles (the 'Tommies') are on another.

Feedings are 6 times a day. I'm sorry I don't remember when.
