I am going through a stressful time right now and found some links that really helped. Reading TR's and viewing links of Disney pic's, and Cruises. I am normally a rock, but this is too emotional.
Thanks DISers :grouphug:

When I sit and fret over things out of my hands, I am so anxious.
I stubbled across a few threads with links to TR and some threads with Cruise photo's that take me to a place of peace.

The chest tightness leaves, I can actually get my heart rate down, like biofeed back with a kick...the Dis :thumbsup2

Load me up with any TR's to anywhere I can travel away from it all.:surfweb:

My Disney galleries are in my signature link too - no trip reports, but tons of pics. I also have my cruise galleries in there too - I go on 1 cruise a year, so I've got plenty of those too. Feel free to browse if it takes you away to a nice place!

I thank you all sooo much, I even had the motivation to do two loads of laundry,
I did a Give a Day today at an after school program and the kids were sooo nice, they loved having me there. I felt much better. After wards the family took me for Philly pretzles at the Philly factory that opened in our area. Had a nice dinner.

I am sitting now to share your pic's, perhaps until day break, unless I can feel sleepy. :thumbsup2

Oh what a trip, I never saw pic's of Disneyland. They are so fun.
I remember a sub ride in 1993 at Disney World, but don't recall it being there in more recent trips. I thought it was removed, renovated, became something else or if it was remodled....:wizard:

Oh thank you so much for the incoming links.
I cannot say how much it takes me away from all the stressors in my life right now.
I sit for hours and just get lost in travels.

If anyone has Auto Train pictures, I would love to see them too. My ds wants me to travel auto train with them this year when everything legal is settled. I was going to save the money and fly on a special, but grandson wants me to go with them.

That is what my life is for now, making new memories. Trips to Disney will never be the same without my oldest daughter, :littleangel: but the kids deserve to have mamma there to make new ones for them...

Know that I am sending thank you hugs,:grouphug::grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:

Again the DIS is there for me.My anxiety level is soring over the huge step I have to take.

I meet with the attorney on Tuesday to work to resolution (my dd estate). It is so frightening to have the ex, a dead beat dad, pull strings and control my life. I thought that was over with 30 years ago....

But I am off to a better place of memories,
Thanks again for links :thumbsup2

I was amazed at the way your dd stepped right into a fantasy world. The picture with Cindy and her prince, the fairgodmother, even to Darth Vader, WOW,

Where is the Carriage for Cinderella, and the her fountain. I know I must have passed the fountain near the castle, not sure where.

Oh, and the big question, what kind of camera do you use, a DSLR or point and shoot? You are very talented.

Still have many links to see yet, they are so spectacular.

Does anyone have links to far away lands, cruises?
I am just loving the sharing, Thank you all as I travel with you!

Disneymarie,

I am so sorry for what you are having to go through right now and all I can offer is more :grouphug: and my humble pictures for you to look through. As for your request of "far away lands" the link in my signature to my smugmug site has all the pictures I have which include some in the Disney section on the Disney Cruise Line. Check under Disney > 2007. That's about as "far away" that I have gotten so far. I am hoping to have Alaska processed soon. :goodvibes

Hi! I'm glad you're enjoying the pictures, and hope they are providing a nice diversion for you. :grouphug:

Many thanks for the kind words. My daughter and I have had a lot of fun with the costumes at Disney. She was equally at home with the princesses as with Darth Vader, mostly because she has 2 teenage brothers who went through strong Star Wars stages when they were younger.

I have a Canon Xsi, one of the DSLR's. I love hanging out here learning more every day about how to use it to its fullest.

The carriage is a photo op prop Disney brings out during the Halloween parties. They also had it out at the Pirate & Princess parties, which they no longer do. If you're ever there in September or October, I know that last year they opened the carriage spot a little prior to party time, so even a handful of non-party guest got to use it too.

Hang in there. Be strong. Hopefully everyone here will keep your mind occupied for a bit.

I do see a certain family resemblance there. Has your hair always been a lighter color? My mother's was always dark. In the past few years, she has been coloring it lighter and lighter to blend the grey so she can give up the constant hair dying.

When I am on other threads, I go looking for signitures with links.

Oh yes, I love the animals too. I am a cat person, but love anything. I saw this thing on you tube one night with pets and nearly wet my pants laughing. It has been years since they heard me laugh, let alone a hearty laugh!

Lol, I do the exact same thing, mine was dark also, I have been dying it an ash blonde to cover the gray too. I thought after about 6 months I would let it all go, but no, the three inches of whiter gray was too much for the kids to bear. :hippie:
