What size coffee makers in DVC studios?

Love my morning coffee! Last trip, we got the 4-cupper (little coffee-maker) at VWL, then full-size coffee maker at OKW. Honestly, that was one small thing that made me prefer OKW. Could sit on the balcony in the morning with cup after cup of coffee. Are these the usual size coffee makers? Besides having bigger rooms, does OKW have bigger coffee-makers (I'm not trying to start anything here)?

I think all the studios are supposed to have the 4 cup coffee maker.

In Feb., I was in 2 different studios at BWV. One had the small coffee maker, the other had the large one. Guess it's the luck of the draw! :confused:

Would it be improper to call mousekeeping to ask for a larger coffee maker? That's what I was intending to do if we have a 4-cupper. They obviously have larger ones available if some rooms have big pots and some have small ones.

We had the bigger one for our studio at OKW. Okay for coffee bad for air conditioning. (it was right under thermostat) Room got very cold :eek: :eek: :eek:

I would think you could ask for a bigger one if one is available great.

Just back from a studo in the BCV, had a BIG pot. We have had a mix at the other locations. Just call housekeeping and ask for a 12 cupper. No problem, and don't forget to have them bring a supply of coffee for the bigger pot.

You've peaked my interest, BillPA. Is the coffee gratis for the bigger pot? I was figuring that I'd bring my own, but something extra not to carry or buy on our grocery stop is wonderful. I thought they charged at Disney for the coffee packs.

Just the first pack of Regular and Decaf are complimentary. We stock up on the four cup pre-packaged coffee from our grocery store back home. Then if we get a larger coffee pot, we just put in two packages.

I have had a combination of both lg and sm coffee pots in the studios at both OKW & BWV. If you want a larger pot just call housekeeping and they will gladly bring one. I bring the Maxwell house prepacked coffee and they work great.

I've always brought my own 12-cup coffee pot and the MH coffee packs, but I would like to mark the coffee pot off my packing list. I could do with just the 4-cup, but love the packs. I've only ever seen the packs for larger coffee pots. MARGARET64-where have you found the 4-cup packs and what brand of coffee?

BCV 1BR had a 12 cup coffee maker, and 1 pack of both regular and decaf.

Oops Dee. I may have miss-spoke about buying the 4 cup filter packs. Now that I think about it, I have only purchased the 10 cup packs. I always have an abundance of the 4 cup packs as my husband travels alot for business and brings home the Maxwell House and off-brand 4 cuppers. I'll look though next time I go to the grocery as we "going home" next in October. Sorry for the confusion.

BraveMom3: Well better late than never. I am packing for our trip tomorrow to WDW. I DO have 4 cup Maxwell House Master Blend in my WDW Suitcase. I bought it at Krogers. Good Luck finding it. I'm glad to remember that it really does exist (not just in my mind!!!)
