Darling Disney Divas with a magical Surprise!!!

Ok well here we go, my first posting wish me luck :). Hi all my name is Kathryn i am 26 year old Disney fan with an up coming trip to Walt Disney World. Let me take a min. right now to introduce you to our energetic cast. :cool1:

First off is Me...HI me, as you guess i am a disney fan and fave. character is Tink


Then we have my Tante (aunt) Martha...she has come along with me on most my disney trips since i was little we have been disney buddies. She is a villans fan, ursala being her favorite


Up next is little miss Emily (8). She is adopted from china and is a HUGE disney fan. Currently her fave character is Sleeping Beauty

Finally we have little Miss Mia (2), She is adopted from Guatemala and loves all things disney....yay....she had a great first trip and hoping for a great second one her favorite character is Ariel.

So there is our cast of characters for this upcoming adventure. :dance3:. Sometimes i wonder through with a fun loving energetic aunt and two very energetic little ones what i have gotten myself into:confused3 haha. :rotfl2:

So lets get to the good stuff now!! Our trip!!popcorn::

We are all booked and ready to go now but sadly we have to wait. So back in December i had foot surgery and was laid up for just about two months:headache:...how boring...to help pass the time and get my tante (aunt) Martha and i out of our winter blahs in Michigan we looked up all things disney. Well T. Martha LOVES :love: LOVES to plan fake vacations. So one of the times i was home chillin since that is all i did after surgery i got a voicemail from Martha saying she was looking at all things disney. I figured oh here we go again, i walk downstairs and tell my mom...i think martha planned us another fake vacation to disney for us, i just dont feel like doing that today, and my mom was like of well martha is on her way over...so i was like well i won't call her then. So Tante Martha comes over and Tells me that she planned a trip to disney and called and booked it! :yay::woohoo::thumbsup2. I was SHOCKED!!!:cool1: But even more than that i was pummed that yes, we were going to disney and to have something to look forward to while i recovered!!! :cheer2:

So here are the Details:

We are going April 30-May 8 and staying at Coronado Springs :woohoo:

I have always wanted to stay at Coronado Springs, but my dear Tante Martha wasnt sure about it but then after some research and reading how great it was, how great the buses and how empty the buses are she was pretty much sold. :cloud9: So yay we booked there.

Ok well off to work...up next where to go eat? Did we find a flight? Are we going to tell emily? :rolleyes1

got everything set and have a few min before i actually leave so i though i should continue on with our PTR!

So when we last left off i got the surprise of all surpises that the the trip was actually booked:lovestruc and not just a pretend one this time!!! :cool1:

After we got online looked at all the stuff and were trying to decided wheater we should drive or fly. A lot of that was depending to the flight costs. Soooo i was left in charge of checking prices and seeing what i could find. Off i went to work on my computer :surfweb: With in 5 min or so i found round trips for about $140.00 per person!! we booked right away!! Couldn't pass on that price, and two free bags are included!! Oh yea thats what i am talking about!!:yay: So that made the decision really easy on driving or not :upsidedow

On to the decision on telling emily or not. Anyone have any guesses????

Back again...boring day at the pool working...which i guess working in a pool a boring day is better than one that is filled with craziness and excitement...because being a lifeguarde too much excitement can be bad ;) Ok now that i am back time to get to the good stuff...my up coming trip to Disney....hip hip hoorah:cheer2:

Well the grand decision is no we are going to try to surprise her. The hard part of this whole decision is trying to keep out mouths shut :chat: We have a few close calls i mean really close. I think there was one time where i almost spilled the beans big time but we were able to quickly recover and switch it. Luckily i am going to vegas in a few weeks so my slip ups for awhile were covered by saying it had to do with vegas etc. I am not very good at keeping my mouth shut at this :laughing: however i am improving..GO ME!! :woohoo:

So as of now Miss Emily has no clue. :rolleyes1 To help with all of it Emily keeps asking if we can go to disney and so we keep telling her that maybe in the fall like Oct or Nov...she thinks that sounds great. THis way too we get the chance to talk about it without her actually knowing its happening wayyyyy sooner than she thought.:cutie: This also helps us get an idea of what Emily wants to do for ADR and stuff like that. So Emily in a round about way is helping with the planning process with out her even knowing. GO US! Tante Martha talked to her teacher at school to give her the heads up but told her that Emily will not know, the the grand planning on how we were going to pull this all off. I think we have the plan down now and here it is.......

Since graduating from WMU (go broncos!) and well a little before that i have been busy searching for a full time job :surfweb: One of the places i continue to search is disney (of course) for a job. so the Sunday before we leave T. Martha and the girls are going to come over for dinner, which is normal so nothing will be thought of it and i am going to ask martha for a ride to the airport, telling her that no one in my family is able to do it and i really just need a ride, Martha will give me a hard time about this so we will go back and fourth me begging and martha himming and hawing about helping me out and i will volunteer for her to use my car (better trunk space so it is the one we will take) so she wont use up her gas etc etc etc.:drive: So then martha will agree during this my mom will suggest that Martha take emily out for half a day so that she could keep martha company then martha emily and mia could go do something after so we are all set up. Emily will go to school for half a day then off to the airport for our 3:30 flight out of DTW set to land at MCO at 7:30 :yay:

So once we get close to the parking lot martha is going to start going on and on about how she really wants to go to disney:laughing: SO we again will start bickering about it Finally an idea will pop magically into my head :idea: Why dont they just come with me. There is extra room in the hotel and they could just stay in the room with me and get the tickets and such once we are down there so then we will discuss then Martha will finally agree :upsidedow and we will tell emily to get the bags out of the trunk because we are going to disney!!!!! princess: Knowing my cousin it will be many questions about school about their stuff, about everything but i think we will get some huge smiles and :hug:. We will have to then assure here that it is all set and everything is taken care of. I think little miss mia will take it all in not knowing what to think seeing as she is so young she wont really be too sure what is going on :laughing: So off to the airport then for the four of us to start or magical surprise trip for the girlie girls!! Once we get to disney our next surprise for emily....what will it be??

It will be the hotel Coronado Springs. She like me really wants to stay there so it should be another great surprise!! :cloud9:

Ok its getting late and i need to catch some zzzzzzzz's. Up tomorrow our dinning reservations with help from a former cm who helped us pick out some of our meals! Lots of new places for us.

So we have this huge surprise for emily about going to disney. Well in the mail came a parent letter about emily's cheerleading, She has gotten into cheer this year and really enjoys it, :cheer2: But she has a cheer competition scheduled the day we are set to come back from disney. We can't tell her that she can't cheer in this competition because we will be in Disney because that would ruin our surprise and all our hard work on keeping out mouths shut:sad1::sad2::guilty: So now what to do!?!? Well we have mentioned to Emily that it might be nice to take a long weekend in may:confused: So if we say we planned it today and booked it, then when she goes to cheer tomorrow and finds out that they have a competition then we have a story to tell her about why she cant cheer without blowing our magical surprise:rotfl: But now where do we "book" a fake trip to:rolleyes1 So we decide on Williamsburg Virgina, if emily researches it there are some cool things and it would work perfect for a long weekend. So it has been discussed by my parents and Martha in front of Emily and from my understanding a fake booking of this fake trip has been made. whew :littleangel: Crisis adverted!! Now our magical surprise can stay one:banana::banana:She has no clue and i think she will be pretty shocked but then confused about the long weekend. She truly is a blonde at heart btw so she will probably ask if we are going to do both then :laughing: and it will take some time to explain the whole planning etc to her :upsidedow or she will totally just be shocked about disney and have hundreds of questions for us princess: But yea problem solved now back to fun planning stuff:woohoo:

Good morning all:surfweb:

So Mia is over at my house today, she comes to my moms daycare and we are listening to the little mermaid cd right now, Her favorite!! Currently her favorite song is Poor unfourtunate Souls its soooo cute to watch. She is starting to learn the motions from watching the movie, when they start talking about using your body language she mimics ursala by placing her hands on her hips and moving them. Then when the spell is being done she has the motions and words down perfect!! Then she stands and sings along with Ariel...ahhhhh....ahhhh...ahhhh. I am really looking forward to take her to the little mermaid at HWS and Ariels Grotto. I have a feeling she will really love it!!!! She is getting ready and we are showing her all things disney to get her ready so now we are on to the lion king Music. Little miss Mia loves music!! For the longest time mama mia was her favorite movie she will watch it over and over and over again. lol...Is it time to go yet??? I am ready??? (plus i am sick of the cold, the sun is out which is a nice change but i am ready for warmer weather) again i am ready to leave now!!! hehe

Got the binder started up!!! I learned from my mom to keep everything in a binder, all the reservation # and confirmation numbers so its started. First page is our reservation # then our flight info then our ADR info then tips i have found about CSR the website by ******** is awesome!! Then things we want to try that are new or new to us and finally other helpful hints as more stuff comes in we will add it to the binder, the binder stays with me b/c it is easier for me to hide and have the better hand writting (hehe). As I add i will rearrange layout etc. but everything goes into the binder and each gets its own protective page cover. This way the pages stay nice and all in one location and once we are in WDW we can keep it in the backpack and have all the information with us all the time. :) I am not usually this organized with stuff but when it comes to Disney i am....he he....So whats new in other peoples PTR? Any suggestions for me?? Have a good night!!!!

A funny Story from a past disney trip:

So when i was younger and i mentioned before my Tante Martha would come along with us to Disney. I think i had to be around 7ish years old and we were at a character breakfast and i knew that Martha :love:LOVED:love: Goofy:goofy: And i saw him apporaching behind her...
so i asked her "Tante Martha do you love goofy"
she replied "yes Kathryn i do love Goofy" and
i asked "Do you really really love him?"
she again said yes i do so then
i ask her "well tante Martha do you want to marry :bride: goofy?"
she answered "yes i would like to Marry goofy"
All of the sudden she got a tap tap tap on her shoulder and guess who it was...Goofy!!!

Well then Goofy had Tante Martha get down on her knee in front of the resturant and had to propose to him right there hehe...

I dont know if i have ever seen my aunts face turn so red. :flower3:. We of course took the picture of it then and had it blown up into a poster for her.

I have to say i was a good little stinker back then....haha

Looking forward to making more magical disney memories with her!!!

Tony's is new for me, glad to hear the atmosphere is good i have heard mixed reviews on the food itself most are simliar to yours :) We picked it because we have always seen it and thought why not and our theme for our trip is new stuff (i will write more about that later:goodvibes)

I am sooo hopping!! I saw today that they have pictures posted of the flower and garden festival :woohoo: It looks so pretty. I have actually been before its sooo cool!! Its amazing what they can make out of different flowers and plants. I am in awe of it all!! How are your plans coming along??

Yea its hard keeping it from emily, we have to tell everyone if we talk about it with them that she doesnt know and hope they dont spill the beans either. As of right now i am doing pretty good i think the closer we get the harder it will be!!!!! :eek: I am not very good at keeping my mouth shut...but like i have said so far so good just have to keep working at it :rotfl:

So more on the trip....
This year we have themed our trip...a year of trying new things for us...normally we don't theme our trips but we decided to just mix it up since we realized we tend to do a lot of the same stuff and stay at the same places. :laughing: So we are mixing it up...here are our mix ups for now...

1. Not letting the girls know that we are going.
--usually we tell them in order to have them help us in the planning
process but not this year since they have done it its now time to
surprise them!!!:genie:
2. Staying at a new resort for all of us.
--got the 40/30/20 discount so we thought we would mix it up, decided
first to do a moderate this year since I have done POR (then dixie
Landings) and they have done POR and POFQ it left us with CBR and
CSR then weighing out decisions and remembering what Emily had
mentioned in the past.:sunny:
3. Not planning which parks on which days
--Thats right ladies and gentlemen we are totally mixing it up and deciding
our parks on a day to day basis while we are there depending on
fireworks and emh and how the girls are doing. Some days will be
influenced by our ADRs. Since we have a lot of early breakfast ADR it
gives us some freedom. We want to do this kind of laid back easy going
this year. We'll see!! :earboy2:
4. Trying our new places for dining
--These include, Cape may cafe breakfast (recommended by a former CM),
Tony's town square, Mickey's Backyard BBQ, Ohana breakfast (also
recommended):fish:
5. Trying some things we haven't done, OR its been years and don't
remember much
-- These include but are not limited to...Mission Space (new), China movie
(new), Beaches n cream (new), Primeveal whril (new) and then many i
haven't done since i was younger and can't really remember much
about!! :tink:
6. Writing this PTR :woohoo:

I am really really looking forward to this trip as i think my Tante Martha is too!! I am sure if the girlies knew that would be beyond pumped for it!! :cutie:

So this year again we will be celebrating adoption. We will be there shortly after Emily's adoption anniversary so its a perfect thing for us to be able to celebrate!!

Last year we we were celebrating all sorts of stuff....we had a first timer, adoption anniversary...magical gathering...family reunion and mine and my sisters college graduations (we graduated the same day from different schools...luckily mine was first thing in the morning and hers was later afternoon.)

It is nice to have something to celebrate when i am there, of course there is always the celebration of just being in Disney!!! :hug: Anyone else having celebrations on their trip??

The weather here is actually sunny and warming up!!!! Hoorah....can't get too excitied though because Michigan weather is very unpredictable. It can be warm and sunny one day and cold and snowy the next day :lmao: But this week we are going to get up to 56 degrees...warmer weather means closer to disney!!! HOORAH!!!!!!:goodvibes I have figured out what camera I will be getting!! I have an older digital camera and well its most definitly on its last leg :sad1: So i put my dad researching cameras for me this weekend:surfweb: He is awesome at finding reviews and figuring out what is the best and such, so he got it narrowed down to TWO choices for me. Both are canons one is the SD1300 and one is the a3100. So today i went to our handy camera store today and talked cameras with them. I read all about the differences but honestly it made no sense to me :confused3 So talked to the people in the store and talked about what I am looking for in a camera and my price range and they were able to explain it all to me and helped me figure out which one is the best choice for me. Soooo the decision has been made I will be purchasing a Canon SD1300 once my tak money comes it!!:cloud9: Now the hard decision on what color to get??? Hmmmmm.......my choices are blue, silver,pink green, or brown. Whats every ones vote? :tink::smickey:

here is one of my all time favorite pictures. In 2008 when we went to Disney after a long day in animal Kingdom Emily was tired and so my brother picked her up and placed her on his shoulders to head toward the bus. Well Emily put her head down on top of his head and fell asleep. We stopped at a photopass to get a group picture and she was out cold so the photographer took one of her like that. We made it all the way to the bus got her off his shoulders on the bus all the way to the resort and off the bus before she woke up!! So cute!

The weather is getting really nice this week! Tomorrow we might actually get above 60 degrees and a chance of thunderstorms....can't even tell you how long its been since we have had that!!! :p The good news about all this is the chance to get out and get walking. With having foot surgery like i did and being in a air cast...a walking boot kind-of looking like a space shoe 6 months before my surgery i have lost a decent amount of muscle in my leg. Its kind of entertaining to look at my legs because the size of the two varies some. :upsidedow As soon as i got the all clear i started exercising again...i missed it so much after my surgery so i have been inside riding the stationary bike like a mad woman and that was about all i could do. Now that its nicer out I can get out on breaks from work or before work and go for a walk to help me get ready for all the walking we will be doing in disney :hyper: I am just glad that it is moving along in the healing process and that i should be great to go at disney!!!:cheer2: And the warmer weather means my trip is coming sooner!! I can't wait i am soooo excitied. I know martha is too!!! :hyper2:

So on the Emily update...she took the bait of a fake trip and bought it!!! :woohoo: So now no worries about that anymore and we are still on track for her big surprise. princess: And no worries she is still completely clueless about it. Yesterday she was outside playing and i was showing Martha the latest installment i had added to my PTR and emily walked in...lucking i clicked onto another page right away because she came on over crawled in martha's lap and looked at the computer. Talk about a close call!!!:sad2: So we also decided that we will print off this pre-trip report and add it to our binder so she can read it once she finds out our surprise for her and she can see all our planning and such that has gone into making this all possible.

Mia is getting into all the disney movies we are showing her. we are trying to introduce her into all things Disney so when she is down there she will recognize different things and characters and well its just fun to do!!:lovestruc So her favorite still stands the little mermaid, the other day we watched snow white and the seven dwarfs! I haven't seen that movie since i was a child and as i watched it i realized how little of it i remember from watching it as a child. :laughing: So introducing this all to Mia is refreshing my memories and such!! Oh yea we got Mia's swimsuit for disney....give you one guess as to who is on it....ARIEL!!

Both Emily and Mia have had tons of energy this week and bounce off the walls. When they were doing it part of me was thinking in my head...What have i gotten myself in to!?!? :scared1:!?!? :eek:

Ha ha... It will all be great! We will be in disney so how could it not be great??? But really i love my aunt and my cousins and i am so happy i have such a good relationship with them and get to be such a big part in their lives. Its really nice. They are more like a part of my immediate family not extended family!! If you asked anyone in my immediate family they would tell you the same thing too :grouphug: I feel lucky to have them!!! :love::lovestruc

SO I Have been seeing a lot that people decorate their hotel room doors and windows. I don't know much about this but was wondering if anyone out there could give me any tips hints or suggestions on that one? Time is flying!! Which is nice, we are out of the 50s on our count down!! I am so excitied for the trip. I know the night before i will be like the little boy on the disney commercial from a few years ago..."i'm too excitied to sleep". Whats nice about this year though compared to the past few years is it will take me forever to fall asleep, but once i do i am sleep in some. Last year we we drove to hotel by the airport the night before but we still had to be up around 5 to get to the park and fly and then to the airport, and the year before was 3:30a to get up and drive to the airport so this year our flight is at 3:30p so we dont have to get up too early, and we can start the trip on a good amount of sleep. We will get in to MCO around 7:30 so we will hang out at the hotel that night and be bright eye and bushy tailed in the morning!! It was nice getting in early but then you are so tried at the start of our trip so i think this will work out well exspecailly for the girls!! I am really excitied!!

So its a cooler dreary day today. Makes me realize how much i am ready for warmer weather and sun!! I miss the sun a lot on some days ;) but at least its not snowing!!! :rotfl:

I have been working on all sorts of projects this weekend. I love crafting and find it so relaxing to do. I worked some more on our trip binder channged what the cover was like. I went to one of the craft stores the other day and they had disney scrapbooking stuff 40% off. I was really excitied. I love good deals and so i got a few stickers for our trip binder along with some other random craft stuff for myself like beads and such. No new cover made. Finished typing out all our ADRs on excel spreadsheet and was able to download the disney font to do it in. Now its nice and organized in a spreadsheet. :yay: I like playing around and doing different things on the computer like that. So now all i need is ink for my printer, minor detail. Hopefully i will get to the store to get it this weekend, that way i can print that out other e-mails we have gotten from disney and get it all in the binder:banana:

We decided that we will be printing out my PTR and putting it in the binder or a folder that way Emily can read it and see all the planning that we have done, which will be neat and keep her entertained for awhile on the flight:cutie:

Its amazing how quickly the trip is coming up, i think in a few weeks i will have to go through and pull out my summer clothes and see which ones are going to come along with me!!!

Hello!! We must me close! I live in west michigan as well just not along the lake shore. My sister lives on the lake shore and loves it! I am glad to hear that you are enjoying the ptr!! HOORAH!!!!!:cheer2: I finally figued out all the camera stuff i have been going through and broke down and bought a camera today!!! I am so excitied!! I got a Canon SD1300 in brown. I am so excited. I was playing around and trying it out tonight and it was taking some great pictures ::yes:: I went to the camera specialty store that we have in town and talked to them about what i use it for my price range that i wanted a canon and they were able to explain a few different models to me so i could make the most informed decision and get the camera best suited for my needs. Along with the camera i got a warrenty and a memory card. I got a 4 something memory card which they told me i probably will be able to get 800 pictues on it.

I am so ready for disney now and to take lots of pictures. Martha isn't very good about taking pictures but i am pretty good at it so one of our goals for this trip is to get tons of pictures. We are trying to decided weather or not we want to preorder the photo cd for the photopass. We almost always get the cd and so we are thinking about just doing it a head of time!! What do you all think?:upsidedow

So on some completely unrealted disney news my dad got my mom himslef my sister and brother and i tickets to go see Elton John in concert the weekend before i leave for disney. We are all very excitied about it because we are all Elton John fans. :dance3:

On a simliar note to concerts i am hoping to stop by and listen to part of one of the flower power concerts when i am down there. I have done them in the past and its been fun. I remember one time my dad sister and i got Maragrittas in mexico then went to the concert and saw paul reveare and the raiders in concert. It was great sipping our drinks and listening to a great concert.

I am really looking forward to the flower and garden festival. :flower3:I have looked at some of the posted pictures and it all looks so neat and i know it will look cooler in person.

I am ready to go, like i said yesterday getting closer...count down is in the 40's now :woohoo:

So i think we are going to try to decorate the door/window a little. We are going to look for some window clings and those mickey heads at home depot. Hopefully the one here has the green ones.

Another day and no mail from Disney :(. Each day i hope we get something since we are now paid in full. I am pretty sure our ME tags should be coming soon. Martha has closesly been watching her e-mail and her snail mail. If we get any it has to get hidden right away so Emily cant find it. ITS OFFICIALLY SPRING!!!! to bad here it means snow!!! We had a teaser or warm 60+ degree days and today the start of spring...snow! I am so ready to head to Florida to warmer weather. Each year when i go I always like looking out the windows of the ME and seeing green grass! Its been so long when i saw it last. Luckily the weather here will slowly change and yes it is snowing but we are on the tail end of snow and not the start!:yay: And even better than that about 41 days 17 hours until i am at the Happiest place on earth!!!!! ::MinnieMo::MickeyMopluto:

Mia and i spent some time on youtube today watching songs from different disney movies!! She is getting to know them all very well which was what we have been hoping for. We have been trying to show her all the different ones :happytv: so she will recoginze them all when we are down there.

Emily is still completely clueless. This friday i am heading to Vegas and i said if i win it big :laughing: i would take everyone to disney. And she was like i want to go soooo bad can we go to disney. When can we go to disney. So we had to explain that it was only if i won alot of money and if not then we could still work on saving for going in the fall maybe ;) I am so happy that we are doing such a great job on keeping this a secret from her! and so excitied to see her reaction to it all.

We were going to have Emily read my PTR at the airport but then decided not to because we want to surprize her that we are staying at coronado springs. Both her and i have really wanted to stay there but we are going to let her think that we are staying at pop and get in ME line and distract her so she doesnt notice/hear and if she does notice just tell her that since its later in the day they combine the lines :laughing: We are fooling her so much and having the best time planning it out.

Tonight Martha and i were talking about how much we are looking forward to getting into the hotel checking in, finding out were we are at the hotel and then getting the chance to investigate the hotel. I am looking forward to walking around and taking it all in!! It should be so much fun and i am excitied about it!!

I was so excitied when i got the text message from Martha, it was ther perfect pick-me up during a long day at work!! It gave me a much needed second wind!

Now we can add them to the binder to be all ready to go and use and right at our fingertips. I am in charge of the binder so i have it hidden in a great spot that if emily is here she cant find it. Mia it would make no difference to her since she cant read etc :rotfl: But we have to keep it hidden so our surpise isnt ruined.

The trip is finally feeling more real now that our ME stuff is here. Its a confirmation of yes we are going, we have everything paid for and now its time to prepare. It is really real!!:banana:

Ahhhh....i rode a monorail today...Yes thats right a monarail!!!! However it wasnt a Disney one it was one in las vegas! It made me very excitied to go ride it for Disney!!:cool1: The one here however does not say "please stand clear of the door...por favor mantegense alejado de los puertas. But no need to fear my fellow DISers i say it ;):rotfl: well at least in my head but a few times out loud!!! Ahhh good times!!

Well out of las vegas and back to reality...luckily not for too long!!! ;) Its april and that means we are soooooo much closer to our Disney Vacation...YEPPIEEEEE:banana:

So let me update you on all the latest and greatest of what has gone on while i was gone and now that i am back....:cool2:

1. We got more mail from disney!!!!!:cheer2: Our luggage tags, vouchers and confirmation book thingy came in the mail!!!!! From what i heard it was a close call with Emily almost seeing it...luckiy tante martha thought quickly and tossed it into a cubbord where she wouldnt look. Sunday while emily was off riding her bike we got that package of stuff and our package with our magical express stuff into my car and hidden and it is now safely in my possesion and going to be added to our disney binder ASAP!!!

2. We feed emily the me applying for a job. It took awhile to get her to take on it but she finally took it!!! She can be such a ditz at times:sad2:. But sunday i told them that i "found a job" that would be a good fit for me and i started to discuss with martha weather or not i should "apply" for this job..we decided that i should go for it. So tonight at dinner i told them that i went ahead and applied for the job, so now that story is feed so up next is when time comes close to tell emily that i have an interview and ask martha for a ride to the airport :laughing:;)

So now you all are caught up with what has gone on!! We are in the 20's now for our countdown...super exciting!!! I am ready to go!!

Today when i realized how close we were getting i also realized that i need to get my butt in gear to get things done to get ready to go!!! I know i have time but a craft i am making them...ie autograph books I should really stop procrastinating so much and get them done and the other thing that i really need to get done is that awful task of shopping for shorts, i love when i get new ones i just hate trying to find them and finding the ones to fit:rotfl:

So i think that this week we decided that i will tell Emily that i have an "interview"...hopefully she picks up on this one quicker than she did when i was discussing applying and then saying i applied because it was sooo hard and she wanted to play her DS and not discuss these important things :laughing:

Two weeks from today i will be in disney for my second full day of fun and adventures!!


I am getting so excitied. I am closing in on finishing Mia's autograph book and my sister started working on Emilys! The goal is to have them all completed by tuesday to get them in and bound. I think its pretty reasonable but it means i have to stop procrastinating!!!

Emily picked up on the interview much easier than the applying for a job. So i have told her that i have one but no specifics so now next sunday i can ask martha for a ride. Wow writting that made me realize that its so close!! Ahhhh...so fun but so crazy...i have stuff i need to get done!

So we have preordered the photopass so we could get the CD which we usually get every year but if you preorder it, it is cheaper. We also have gotten matching shirts to wear one day when we are down there.

I am so excitied and so ready to go!!

One week and one day until i go! Its so hard to believe that it is coming up so quickly...but i am ready to go. I can picture myself at this time laying in bed and trying to sleep and having all the things i need to get done in the am running through my head and then just thinking "i'm too excited to sleep". I loved that disney commercial...has to be one of my all time favorites. This weekend i have to get out shopping to get some stuff that i need to get before i go like more shorts etc. Luckily i dont have to work Saturday like i do most saturdays so that will be helpful and i have big plans this saturday night because i get to go see Elton John in concert!! It should be sooo good!!

So now back to planning...

We are planning on hitting up the flower power concert when we are down there. I think we are going to see Davy Jones...should be good. So if you are around you should look for us. Not sure which day yet.

I think also that we are going to try to do a walk up and go to the sci-fi diner one day for lunch. I have never been there and have always wanted to try it and my aunt and i thought why not!!

We have to get our room request fax off ASAP. We have never done this before but have done much research and figured out where we want to be!!

Also i am going to get some Disney apps on my iphone. Anyone have any suggestions on which ones are good or not? I have been reading reviews on the itunes store, but any added suggestions will be great. I am planning on getting a few different ones!!

I love the autograph books--too cute. I can't believe you'll be there in 8 days! We figured out this past week that since we didn't have to pay taxes that we could go for a few nights before our week at Marco Island so we'll be going "home" to CSR for four nights starting September 17.

Wow only 4 days left...when i first started this PTR it seemed forever away and now we are soooo close!!:banana::banana::banana:

I am so excited to go! But its one of those oh wow its friday and we are leaving and i have so much need to get done. I just have to remind myself that it will all get done and just take a deep breath!!!

So some things to update you all on...

1. I got to hear Elton John sing The circle of life this weekend along with all his other hits in concert. It was a concert of a lifetime and he was on for 3 straight hours!!! It was awesome

2. After martha got of work Saturday my mom ordered pizza so they would stay for lunch and we could feed Emily the story that i needed "a ride to the airport" friday since she doesnt have to work and i need to go to disney for an "interview". So martha was like i dont know its alot of gas etc etc...i convinced her that she could use my car and then she was like well what about emily i wouldnt be home to get her off the bus and so my mom suggested that she take emily out of school for part of the day and then they could go shopping afterwards on the other side of the state and martha could show emily where she use to live and stuff over there and emily was all excitied about that

We know that emily totally bought it all. I was talking about all the different things i am going to do in disney and martha acted all jealous. After she made a comment on how i was bragging about it all :rolleyes1 and how she really wanted to go to disney and martha said she did too and emily told her that martha always wanted to go to disney :rotfl: and then gave her a hug:hug:!!

Boy i feel a little bad...but oh how it will be worth it!!! I am so excitied to see her face on friday at the airport!! Won't she be surprised!! I am planning on taking lots of pictures of it to share with all of you.

I am so proud of us that we have kept our mouths shut for so long!! 4 days!!

Ok now off to bed...lots to get done in 4 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow pretty much 1 day left to go!!! I have been planning and looking forward to this trip so much it all seems sort of surreal and hard to believe that is is actually here...well almost!!!

Today it hit me how close we actually are and how much i have to get done before we can go and i started to freak out a little bit...but sat myself down wrote out some lists...i have my "to pack list" as lame as this sounds i always make one for when i go on vacation it helps me remember everything i need what i want to take and also makes a good way for me see what i have to get and what i don't turns out i don't need as much as i think...whew. I also made out a list of everything i need to accomplish so then i have a plan and between those two things it made me feel better!!

Emily still has no clue about any of it. I am so excited to see her face once we break all this to her!!

Ok off to bed busy day tomorrow. Some last min. shopping, oil change work and ALL my packing to do still!!!

I am getting so excited i am so ready to be down in DIsney! Its almost here!!

Ok packing is about 98% done..so post on here and get some sleep and finish up in the morning. I have to run one more last min. trip to the store and get some stuff that i have forgotten and pick somethings up for martha too!!:lmao:

Off to flordia again tomorrow for me!!! :goodvibes I GOT A JOB @ DISNEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!So i have to head down to take a swim test thursday morning and i am hoping to do some apartment shopping while i am down there. If anyone knows anywhere good i would really appreciate any input. I cant believe my childhood dream of working there is coming true!!!

Ok off to bed i have to get up bright and early. I have to be on the rode to the airport by 4:00am!!!

Ok...i promise that one of these days i will sit down a write my trip report...Like i said on my last post that i got a job at Disney... It is offical that i will be lifeguarding at Blizzard beach, i have to be down tuesday to do papers and start later next week...so for now my life revolves around boxes and getting ready to move!! But a trip report will come soon i hope!!
