You should book that cruise then!

I know Nicole. Deb and I have agreed that we would like to cruise every other year. So since we did 2009 and PCC 2.0 is 2010, we plan to take 2011 off from cruising and focus on just WDW plans.

BUT , should business be good this year you never know. :)

I won't book anything 2011 until PCC 2.0 while we're on the ship. I just don't see the rush.

The sooner you book the better the price, I think (I'm sure someone will correct me) you can then apply your on board discount to the existing booking? Yes? No?

We are doing the June 2011 cruise. Tracy told me that some of the 2011 cruises are booking up. I supposed because of the new ship.

I agree. I think summer 2011 prices on the Dream will keep going up, so I would book something ASAP to lock-in the price. You can rebook the cruise while on PCC 2.0, but you'll get the current price at the time of your onboard booking, minus the 10% discount, plus onboard credit. If I were a betting woman, I'd say the price of a June 2011 Dream cruise will be higher in Dec. 2010, even after the onboard booking discount, than if you booked it now.

This is correct. Also, many categories are sold out on the five night sailings in 2011 so you best book now for the best availability.

I agree Nancy. Nancy is correct, if you book onboard you will pay current pricing, less the 10% discount. The best advice is to book now and then check the pricing when onboard in December. If the pricing is the same or better with the 10% discount, you can always book again and then we can get your old reservation canceled. If the pricing is higher, you got the best deal by booking now!

George, I am transferring my PCC 2.0 booking to the June 2011 cruise. Then I am going to rebook the PCC 2.0. I'm causing Tracy more work. It's a good thing she loves me.

Is school still in for you guys? We looked at going later on in the summer, but we can't because school will be starting up. So, the end of June wins. We are excited about the double dip.

VERY tempting, but school's out at the end of June. Impossible dates for New Yorkers with school age children. We pull her out of school at certain times but end of the year testing is a no go. :sad1:

Awww...She's too sweet! Anna is at cheer practice tonight and I'll be sure to tell her Em was asking about her.

Kim and I were looking into June 2011 sailing dates. Unfortunately, Kim's work schedule really prohibits her from taking vacation during that week. So we booked the June 7th double-dip sailing. I haven't really mentioned our booking yet because we weren't 100% sure. Kim said tonight we are a go. I wish we could go on the 21st because I know you and Don and maybe others will be going, but it just isn't going to work that week for us. :sad2:

Actually, you can email a list of who wants to go together and if you have 12-14 people, we can request the private room for you. Oh wait! Don't know if they will have a private room on the Dream. Better check that out.

Just looked at the June 21, 2011 sailing and it's a bit more $'s than we were planning for. Twice as much in fact as PCC 2.0 for us. Even though it is a special 5 day and double dip, I'm just not seeing the value (for us). We are actually planning a WDW vacation with my daughters family and grandkids for that time frame. Deb and I were hoping that we could possibly pair a cruise along with it for us.

For now we'll go back to plan "A" and look at other options for the Dream in December during 2.0. It will give us a bit more time to plan.. Everyone have fun in June 2011. :woohoo:

Yes. It is more of a savings to use the onboard booking discount for the June 2011 than it would be for PCC 2.0. So that is the plan. Yes, it is rather pricey, but my kids' favorite part of the cruise was Castaway Cay. So, I think it will be worth it.

I am hoping to book on the Dream when we are on PCC 2.0. It depends on when PCC 3.0 falls and if PCC 3.0 is on the dream. i know the guys were tossing around teasers for 3.0 back in the summer.

By PCC 2.0, the 2012 schedules for both the Dream and the Fantasy ought to be available.

I might have to do this when the school schedule comes out.:rotfl: I really want to save that $1000 going 2 weeks earlier.:banana: But it would be awesome to be on a cruise people I know. :banana::banana:
