This hotel has a REALLY low rate even during Xmas holidays.
It is the one at 5335 West Irlo Bronson, Kissimmee.
Different from the Econolodge Maingate, but is it just as awful as the posts on here???
Just how bad? Does anyone know?
Thank you.

Any of the very low rate places (Days Inn, Knights, Econolodge) are older properties that decided to slash prices rather than renovate. Fine some college student types but otherwise you might want to upgrade or even try PL for a 2 1/2 *.

Thanks lewisc. We have reservations to tent-camp in Janury at Fort Wilderness, but these LOW prices (less than our tent-site at FW & includes breakfast) made me wonder if this wouldn't be an option for some of our stay or at least 1 night during busy Xmas time. BUT at least with camping our dirt is OUR own family's dirt, I guess. I did already get the message loud & clear from this site and others to stay away from Days Inns down there. I guess this is the same.

Keep in mind "breakfast" at the low price properties is bad (maybe instant) coffee and stale doughnuts. I am specifically talking about properties that are $20-$50.

You're right! If I'm worried about the cleanliness & security of the room I'd have to imagine what eating the food would be like! LOL!
As there are 6 of us using our sad Cdn $ to fund this trip even the donuts adds up in price. But I can always bring my own jar of instant coffee and a box of stale TimBits (donut holes -- don't know if you sell down there -- very cheap if not nutritious!) myself for a lot less.
Thanks for helping to keep me grounded while viewing these great "deals".
