Aflac. Anybody ever used this when you're out of work?

I am having some knee surgery. I have not been out of work for anything since 1986. This time I have Aflac. Is it actually pretty good and how does it really work? I hope someone on here has used it. The doctor said I would be out 4 to 6 weeks. I am having the surgery August 26. Wonder when I need to submit paperwork to Aflac?

Seriously I have not had AFLAC but my dad did and it does pay well. See your HR person at work and they can help you with details.

I've got the Injury Only policy. I know several co-workers that have used it, and can't think of any that had any problems.

Forgot to mention that you can go to the aflac website and print out a claim form from there, or just call them and they'll send you one.
