just wondered if anyone who has stayed at the cheyenne before can help me with this. i have a 3.5 yr old DS1 and DS2 will be 9 months when we are going in june. I am planning to bring my own tandem pushchair but just wondered if there is a lift at cheyenne? for those with a baby do you find it is easier to go back to the hotel during mid day? or is it quite far to nip back to the hotel?

if you all in my situation i.e 1 infant and 1 toddler, which hotel would you choose?

No lifts in the hotel blocks as they are only 2 storeys high, not that the one flight of stairs is easy for a buggy. You can always request a ground floor room.

Hi ya, we went to the Cheyenne a few years back and as I recall the blocks didn't have any lifts, but there were only 2 floors per block. I remember seeing most people left their buggies in the stair well when they went to their rooms. We were luckily on the ground floor so this wasn't a problem for us. Depending which block you get you could be a little way from reception, we stayed in Annie Oakly and was only a few minutes walk to the main building. Cheyenne is great for theming, I'd definitely recommend it. HTH

Also we would come back midday for a rest and the shuttle buses were never packed in our experience, we went in June. It's definitely a good idea with 2 little ones to go back to the room for a break. You'll all feel refreshed and ready for more fun!

Hi - I'd call and request a ground floor room. we stayed in Sitting Bull last year and were on the ground floor, I had a 13 month old and a 3 year old,it wasn't a problem getting in and out and we went back to out room each afternoon to rest up for a bit before going back to the parks(it was snowing too...brrrrr), this year we were in Wild Bill Hikcock building on the first floor and it was a bir of a struggle with the pushchair and the stairs however our youngest is now very good at walking(and climbing stairs;)) so it wasn't too bad:thumbsup2

they are just the name of the blocks. They are given western names instead of numbers. We stayed in the annie oakley which was block 16 i think??. It was closes to the main block and close to the river. The room was really nice had a kettle and all (think i was recently refurbed) it also just across room the laundry room which also had an ice machine. If we were staying there again i would request ground floor in the annie oakly block.

Breakfast was fine , we actually use to go in the exit door didnt realise it the first time, so we use just grab a table and never had to que.
