can I tip w/ a GC on the DDP?

My parents gave us a gift card and we are on the DDP- not big souvie people- can we put ONLY the tips on the GC?

Also, can we charge the tip to the room and pay part of the balance with the giftcard instead of the credit card on file? I feel like that's probably faster. .

Yes, you can use the GC to pay for the tips. A GC can be used throughout WDW for anything.

And, if you do charge to your room, you can simply go down the night before check out and use the GC to pay off your balance.
