Got a studio at BWV for Sept 30-October 3rd - opening weekend F&W - and I was not even able to call till almost 5! It's my 40th birthday that weekend and I can't WAIT!!

Let the happy dance begin!

we're half booked and half waitlisted for our BWV BW view studio, sept 26-oct6. i booked preferred view but am crossing fingers for BW view (our absolute favorite thing in all of WDW:cloud9:)

We got garden/pool view, which is fine - just happy to be near Epcot!

Looks like there will be quite a few of us there opening weekend - good to know so many people were able to get their reservations at 7 months!!

After being on these boards for a number of years, I assumed that it would be impossible to get BCV or BWV for F&W at 7 months and so I was planning just to waitlist and cross my fingers. What a nice surprise to find out that 7 month reservations are even possible for F&W. :goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

Hey starbox... :goodvibes I miss talking to you. Sooo glad you got your ressie. We're going to try for VB at Christmas. For now we have BWV reserved for it.

I was able to get a 1 BR at BWV for 1-9 October at 7 months. Surprised me, too! I thought the whole F&W Festival would have the place packed with the home resort DVC'ers.

We'll be at BLT, MK view studio from 25 September to 1 October, then we'll move over to the BWV. Can't wait to be able to walk to EPCOT via the IG. And DHS is walking distance, too! We'll concentrate on MK and AK while staying at BLT. :woohoo:

2-3 times a year (10-12 days each time).
never get sick of WDW (specifically BWVs, b/c we spend much of our time enjoying the resort) but frequently get homesick for it.

a bit over a week of getting up/going to sleep whenever we want, lounging by the pool with a margarita, (literally) strolling over to EPCOT for a grey goose slushie, enjoying a mint chip cone while watching the BW buskers, where our biggest decision in life is whether to play mini-golf or see figment again....... :cloud9:

does life get any better than that?

This thread is really giving me hope! We currently have a 1 BR reserved at BLT for my son's birthday and our anniversary stay oct 14-18. My son really wants to try BCV or BWV. I told him that i would try but not to get his hopes up because of F&W. He really enjoyed F&W this past year on his bday. weird for a 9 YO. Waiting for the 13th to roll around to give it a shot.

bummer...we've been waitlisted. Need BCV studio for 10/3 -10/7. Our friend who is the DVC owner called at 9:00 this morning and no dice. We're at AKV which is still awesome but hoping for BCV to come through!

The mr has @ 7 months, BLT LV, studio 10/3-10/8, he waitlisted for standard.

I booked WL @ 11 months & waitlisted for BLT MKV studio today.

My preference is BLT MKV, followed by Standard. If neither WL comes through, i'm not sure if i want to give up WL for the LV @ BLT:confused:...it's all about the view for me @ BLT.

I was expecting MS to question me re holding 2 ressies, evidently it's still okay as long as you have the points.

Ooooh - Christmas will be lovely at either resort. I am SO excited to be going to Vero for an entire MONTH this summer. We won't be staying at the Disney resort :guilty: and that's going to be weird for me. I was hoping we may get to see you guys - perhaps one of these days.
