I was wondering from those of you who DO tend to be a LITTLE seasick, or people who do notice to rocking of the ship, if you've ever stayed at the back of the boat, compared to the middle, is the difference noticable? We stayed deck 2 smack dab in the center of the boat and liked it ALOT, and I have the SAME cabin booked for next June. I've been pondering an upgrade lately though, and IF I do, I wonder if I'd like deck 6 midship, or deck 5 aft better ( like around cabins 5122-5130, or 5622-5630 on deck 5) Not all the way back, but almost to the back... I sort of like being lower, but any upgrading automatically puts me to at least deck 5, maybe 6. Thoughts please???

I'll preface this by saying that I don't generally get motion sick; however, I do tend to feel the ship's movement. It seems to me that I feel it move left-to-right more than fore-to-aft. In other words, the movement always seems the same to me, whether I'm in my stateroom (always aft, if I can help it), one of the restaurants, or in the Walt Disney Theatre or one of the clubs, all the way forward.

We have always sailed middle aft! Not all the way back, but still aft of the aft stairs. We have noticed a gentle rocking but nothing major. I like being aft because it seems "closer" to things we like to do, like eating!

Try to remember if you felt alot motion in the restaurants, as all except Lumieres is all the way aft.

Ok, I actually DID notice more rocking at dinner and at shows, but in all fairness, we had pretty rough seas. ALSO, besides aft to middle, can anyone who has stayed in BOTH rooms tell me the difference in motion from being LOW, like on deck 1 or 2, compared to deck 6? Is there a "motion" difference MIDSHIP, but on a higher deck. Any help is appreciated..

They say there is more motion on the higher decks, BUT we were on deck 2 and then moved to deck 7 on the same cruise and I didn't feel any motion on deck 7. I did feel the vibration of the engines an deck 2 but it wasn't annoying.

Our first cruise we were in 2072 and went to bed rocking, our 2nd cruise we were in 5632 and didn't fell any rocking, and the sea had bigger waves then the first.
Our 3rd cruise were in 5634 will see how this one goes.
