For my August hols anyway!!
We decided on the Dream Castle for 3 nights and the Newport Bay Admirals Floor 4 nights!!
So 14th August here we come for 7 nights - yippee!!
We've decided to do a week and just take things easy, no rushing around this trip to get everything done!! And we finally want to visit val d europe as we've never made it there yet!
We both love the Dream Castle and wanted to go back just for a few days, we have a favourite room in the hotel and love spreading ourselves out in that room!
We couldn't decide between the Hotel New York or the Newport Bay Admirals Floor but my friend Nannies for a family who have just returned from Disney (She's wasn't happy to start with that on this occasion she wasn't taken, but is now glad she didn't go!) and they stayed at the Hotel New York and were not impressed with it!
According to them the room smelt, the sheets were dirty, they asked to be moved early evening and a couple of hours later they were still waiting to be moved, when they called down to enquire how much longer reception didn't seem to know anything about it. They finally moved room the next day having slept on the towels on the bed as they wouldn't get in the beds and ended up moving rooms again because the shower wasn't working!
And they didn't like breakfast because both of the restuarants were full so they were shown to a conference room for breakfast which they reckon was gloomy, had no windows and gave a dark and dingy atmosphere! Apparantly they complained on site but were told to send a letter into Disney instead.
Because of all this my mate doesn't want to stay at The Hotel new York!!
Oh well another time perhaps!!
