Boardwalk in September... :(

Once again I'll be returning to BWI for a WDW trip this September. I was there this past February and stayed in a lovely garden suite, so I was far away from the renovations. Now that I am staying in a waterview room, I don't want to look out my balcony and see renovations and hear hammers.

CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF THEY ARE STILL DOING RENOVATIONS TO THE BWV? and IF THEY WILL BE DOING RENOVATIONS WHILE WE ARE THERE? :(

I 'think' the renovations are going to be around the main (clown) pool. We saw a color-coded map at the last DVC BWV owners annual meeting. I have to admit I was only concerned about the renovations going on for our next visit 'home' in December, but I don't remember the 'start' time for that phase being too close to early December. If this is the case, this area isn't visible from any BWI water-view rooms.

We had a water view room in Feb. that overlooked some scaffolding. To be honest, at first we were a little disappointed that our view wasn't "perfect" but after the first day it didn't bother us anymore. We loved our view and we loved the BWI.

We were just there this past week and the renovations do seem to be around the pool area and some on the boardwalk.We will not be visiting BWI again as we were not very impressed.Just for the record we are Disney diehards,but this was not Disney enough for us.Transportation was horrible.We felt as though we spent most of our day getting to and from MGM.Any questions,I'll try to answer.:crazy:

disneyhottie, Why was transport. so bad? The only trouble we had was crowded MK busses. Was the problem to MGM with the boat? You can always use that walkway too.
