we would rather stay in an on-site hotel but for the dates we're looking at you only get 15% off on-site and 40% off at davy crockets ranch. so please tell me good and bad points so i can decide (we have ds ,1, and dd, 5, )

thanks for that. it sounds like it might be the best idea, we are going for 6 nights in the june half term, which is coming out at £788.40 for a 2 bed lodge at davy crockets, compared to the sequoia lodge room at £1118.60. £330 can buy alot of food and presents!

i shall e-mail beforehand to ask for one as close to the pool as possible. any other hints or tips? am very interested in the characters - i take it there will be the ususal morning meet and greet and there was some mention of this in the evenings as well? does any one know any more about this?

also, we should be shareholders by the time we go (just waiting for the club card to come through) does taht mean we can park in the hotel car parks, and would that actually gain us anything?

not sure if there is a morning meet and greet but they were there every night in september with us. £330 is a huge saving!! im pricing up dcr again for september we love it that much!

you can park for free at main car park if you are staying at DCR not sure about any other hotels though....

we got shareholder card too - its fab!! salon mickey is ace!!

i dont think you can park in the hotel carparks now. Dream AP holders used to be able to do it but they withdrew that perk last year

£788.40 for 6 nights is a great price!

We were quoted £776 today, for bed and breakfast only (single bedroom cabin) with Dream AP discount, for only 4 nights in August (4 adults 2 children). It would be £1,008 for a standard ticket inclusive package.

Last August we had 5 nights for £515.25???
