What is airport protocol these days? I have to admit that I hadn't been paying attention because I had no intention of flying over the next few years...however, we have a short trip coming up in May without the kids, so we want to fly to Orlando. How early do we need to arrive at our airport?

A lot depends on which airport you are flying out of. If you go to the Delta website www.delta.com you can see the airport wait times for the airports they serve. I have been getting to all airports somewhere between 90 minutes and an hour and the only airport where I have had an issue was Boston this past Sunday (The longest security line I have ever seen!)

NWA website says 75 minutes.

The best policy is to go by what your airline tells you. Give them a call.
