Free Dining Plan - do they usually announce it to Disney Visa card holders first?

Last year we were not Disney Visa holders but I vaguely remember seeing somewhere that cardholders were given the free dining offer a week or two before the general public. We are now cardholders and have been saving our points towards the trip! Do they usually announce it first to cardholders?:cheer2:

It's usually just three days or so ahead of the general public release, not weeks, and not all Disney Visa cardholders are notified. It's best to just watch the boards here.

Two years ago Visa cardholders did get a FD program for certain weeks in Oct.Nov/Dec that were never opened up to the general public, but everyone got the FD last year for those dates. Visa cardholders just got it a few days in advance then too.

I hope they do this too. Keep watching. On another note, I loved having the rewards card last year. It was handy to use. Just make sure you apply for the rewards card ahead of time to bring with you.! I think I got my card about 2 months before our trip with the points I had, and then like after the bill right before our trip, I just went online and transferred more points to the card.
