Ok, so my freinds iPod touch is not working. It says it needs to connect to iTunes, but when she puts it on to sync it says somthing about needing a password. However even after it's plugged in, she can't get to a point to enter any password. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
T

Your friend might have the security turned on which locks the iPod whenever it "goes to sleep". They would need to enter the password on the iPod. It is a four digit number. That's my guess at least.

She cant get it to that screen, it just shows the itunes logo, and a cable.
OT; My itouch suddenly stoped connecting to the router this morning, and still wont. any ideas there?

it sounds like it needs restoring through ITunes - can she get it to be recognised in Itunes? If so restore its original settings.
If not run it to your nearest apple store and the geniuses will quickly fix it

isn't that what it shows when itunes is doing a firmware update? if that was interupted, you might need to restore. but like ariel said, if all else fails, get thee to an apple store - make an appointment online through apple.com

Sounds like every problem I've ever had with technology. If you just wait long enough, the problem will go away. :rotfl2:
