March....Already???? Doesn't seem possible, but I'm hopeful that this month will bring at least some glimmer of Spring to everyone.

As usual commit to as few or as many minutes of exercise as you wish to challenge yourself to do. Please post here something like "I'm at 21/400" or just 310/1000. That way I don't have to search to add up all your numbers.

I'll update as I get the chance. We finally have 2 computers again, but I start scoring standardized tests on the 8th, so will be minus quite a bit of computer time.

Looks like I haven't signed up yet. The good news is that I did start my own tally sheet & I have been exercising.

My goal is 1800 min this month. :sunny:

So far I am at 360/1800. I'd better get moving, especially since my eating has been way off target for the last 3 months! :earseek: With my eating being so bad and being short of goal with exercise, the results for me have not been good lately. This will be the month when i turn those bad habits back around!

I'm up to 405/1800 min. Unfortunately, that means that after a great start to the month, my bad habits have started to creep back in. Zero min for the past 2 days, and as of right now today isn't looking very good either. :earseek:

The good news is that today isn't over yet, so I may still be able to redeem myself. I'm off to a meeting right now but hopefully we will get out early enough to get some outdoor exercise in since it's beautiful outside today. If not I'll have to get moving indoors this evening.

I have to ask - what did you for 195 minutes? I consider 60 minutes a good workout, and I don't aspire to much more than that.

I have to ask - what did you for 195 minutes? I consider 60 minutes a good workout, and I don't aspire to much more than that.

After yesterday's lazy day, today I had a good 60-minute cardio workout: 500/1200.

Well... I must admit that was an unusually high number for me. I had a friend call in the morning who wanted to walk. We did 7 miles in 100 minutes (outside in very hilly terrain... we live on a mountain). Then I had a circuit training class at the Y that night that was 30 minutes. Before the class I did 15 minutes on the elliptical to get my heart rate up. After the class I did another 30 minutes of circuit training on my own, and then I finished with a very brisk 20 minutes on the bike.

Not something I can fit into my schedule every day, but it was a great feeling!

17 minutes today...at least it's something! :) 457/1000 (Kathy are watching?:rotfl:)

:rotfl2: Get to it girl! It's nasty and rainy here too...I'm getting ready to get the wii out. Have you tried Walk It Out? It is awesome! I get quite the calorie burn doing it, and dd does it with me too - very fun!

It takes me a long time each day to get motivated to exercise, but I eventually did my strength training DVDs. Then I noticed how nice it was outside, so I went for a 25-minute walk around the neighborhood! I rarely go for walks in my neighborhood.

3/20 counting another 10 minutes. I intentionally sat in the gym (at DD's swim meet today) and had to walk back and forth to the pool viewing area to see DD swim. I counted the steps and I had 135 steps PLUS a full flight of stairs in each direction. I walked that 4 times today... as fast as I could. So I'm counting it!

3/21 120 minutes (took a fabulous power walk outside with a friend... it was GREAT... lots of big hills)

That bring me to 1371/1400...........P

sorry I have been so slow to update. Spring break was last week & I hardly saw the computer. Plus, I'm scoring tests nightly for 5 hours, so it takes a chunk out of my day. Off to update now, tho!

That brings me to 1516/1400! Looks like I need to set a new goal for the remainder of the month.

There are 6 days left of March. I take Sundays off (usually), so that leaves me 5 exercise days. I aim for 60 minutes per day (don't always make it, but I aim for it!). That would be 300 minutes for the rest of the month. Guess I will set my new goal for the remainder of March to be 300 MORE minutes. Let's see how it goes!..................P

Finally a month where I am going to make goal! It's about time after my poor showings the last few months! Actually, if I'd realized how close I was I would have found a way to get those last 10 min in today.

For the rest of the month I'm going to see how many of those min I missed last month that I can pick up this month. Now that I've gotten my momentum going I don't want it to slip away!
