On their site today, there is a notice about a contest for August.
Play 75 games or more between 8/1 and 8/20 and win 10,000 bonus points and a chance to win a 27" Toshiba TV. The first 300 players to reach 75 games win a $5 taco bell gift check. You have to sign up to enter the contest.

If you're doing RTV, should be easy enough to do 75 games. That's just 2.5 per day. Hope someone here wins the TV!

diskat, to echo what J&D said, look for the orange button that says Play. It's on the left side of the home page B4 you sign in or on the My RTV page.

I think at this point I'm in 400th place. But that's cool. It's better than 650th place like I was at the beginning of the week. :rolleyes:

Here's a little hint: some FOX network programs are worth around 3400 points apiece. But ya gotta know your commercials!

Someone please clarify the rules for me. Isn't it the FIRST 300 to reach 75 games that get the gift check, and everyone will get the 10,000 points once they have played 75 games within the time period? I see that the person in second place has only played 48 games. I am in 300 something place and have played 50 games. They must be going by the number of points earned instead of the number of games played. Did I completely misunderstand the rules? I can't find them on the site.

No you did not misunderstand the rules.

It is the first 300 to play 75 games.

But if more than 300 reach it at the same time then I would say that it will be the first 300 with the highest scores.Do you see what I am trying to get at ?


other than that the scoring is just for fun.

Apparently I read it wrong as well. But if it's the first 300 to reach 75 games, wouldn't that give the edge to people on the east coast? Not that I'm going to scream over a $5 gift certificate. :rolleyes:

no I would say that gives the advantage to the people on the West coast.

Being that RTV changes at 9 pm for them and 12 midnight for us eastcoasters.
