The Florida Flu

There must be a bad flu bug flying around Florida. We were down at WDW last week and were supposed to leave Wednesday but my wife was so sick we had to postpone our flight a day so she was strong enough to travel.

Props to the Pop Century Resort and Delta Airlines for being gracious and understanding our situation.

Besides us and the DIS crew it sounds like a few of the MLB players in Spring Training are getting it also.

There are two things going around the schools. The sinus/bronchitis thing and then the stomach bug. We got the stomach one and it was not fun and my house smelled of vomit for days. I finally got the smell out with enough clorox and pinesol. Wipe down the surfaces in your room with clorox wipes. The bugs are pretty nasty right now.

Yea there is a few bugs going around so if any of you that are coming to wdw soon make sure you wash your hands and/or use hand sanitizer.
I'm sure the theme parks are full of nasty germs. :sick:

I had the "pleasure" of getting a stomach bug in December 2008 and if I never go through that again it will be too soon :scared1:

We were down 2 weeks ago and I got the stomach bug on the way home. We stopped in Savannah and I was sick all night. We got a late start home after I stopped "being sick" and stopped for an extra night before getting home on Sunday morning. Then DS got sick that night. Not a fun way to end vacation.

I really think there is something about the month of February-because we always hear about these kind of bugs running crazy during this month.
