I am looking to book the Disney Dream for a family of 5 and was wondering if anyone has determined if there are any secret porthole rooms. Please advise if so or if there are any other rooms that are extremely favorable! Thanks!

Secret porthole cabins exist on the current ships because they were originally released as outside cabins and then after sailings (and probably complaints from the people in the cabins), they were reclassified as "inside" cabins. So this didn't happen until after the ships sailed.

So at this time, there is nothing like that on the Dream. Looking at how the cabins are on the deck plans, looks like DCL was more proactive in not having this happen on the Dream. So having these "secret" cabins is less likely. But will have to wait until the ship is complete and people have been on board to actually look around to know for sure if it might happen.

Ditto above....we will all know a lot more when the Dream sails.

But, in the meantime....the Cat 9A's in the corners all the way forward on Deck 6, 7, 8 (though these room on Deck 6 are handicap rooms) look much larger than the other Cat 9A's....we have one Cat 9B booked on Deck 2 and then the cruise right after we have one of the larger Cat 9 A's booked. Can't wait to compare.
