Hi Everyone!
I need some help! Please! We are leaving in 5 days :woohoo:!!! We are staying at CSR and are getting the Dining Plan. (The regular one, 1 qs, 1 ts, 1 snack). I was wondering how it works at the Pepper Market as CSR.
I just want to know and appreciate anything you all have to say!
Thank you!

Hi,
The pepper market is a quick service credit. Any meal is considered a quick service credit and you will get a drink a dessert. Reports this year have been the gratuity is not included...so I assume they will just tell you how much that is when you check out at the register. You can avoid the gratuity if you take the food out to eat. You can eat outside at the table or sometimes we take it back to the room.
If you choose to eat inside...they will seat you and give you a ticket. You can then go to whatever station you like and they will stamp your ticket for what you ordered. I think the waitstaff brings your drink. When you are done eating you just go to the register with your room key and they will deduct you credit.
Hope that helps!

Many of the bakery items qualify as a snack or dessert, I have found CMs to be helpful and will tell you what qualifies.
Most of the stations are set up as meals, not individual items so you shouldn't have any problems.
I would love to hear confirmation about the 10% gratuity on the dining plan.

We did Pepper Market at Christmas and it was a great value, a lot of food. Really, a table service meal for the counter ervice credit.
The gratuity was not included, and it could not be charged to your room card. They made that very clear at the register at check out, so we paid the tip in cash.
That's good to know about getting the meal as a carry out to avoid the gratuity, for those that want to avoid it.

I was there at christmas and the 10% was included in the dining plan, we did not have to pay that. The wait staff reminded us constantly that the tip was not included, meaning they wanted us to leave them one. We recieved good service, so we did.

I'm confused. The wait staff said it was not included, but the CM's at check out did not charge it on top?

All main courses are fair game at PM. Desserts we were told were anything off the bakery counter not the cake fridge. Usual soft drinks apply. Had a real job trying to sort out which fruit could count as dessert so gave up.
We were also told by server that tip is not included but bizarrely you are not charged for it at the checkout, you have to leave it or not as you choose.
