YC rehab, a little info

The YC concierge lounge has been expanded as they said. Where the kitchen used to be is now where they have the food set up. The lounge is brighter, and more beautiful! They set up a small kids area (like at the GF RPC lounge) and are getting a TV for that area. They got rid of the large TV that used to be in the lounge. They want the lounge to be more of a relaxing place.

The rooms all have desks, and big red chairs w/little anchors on them. the theme is still nautical, red, white and blue colors.
more rooms will have daybeds than before.

Great, thanks for the info!! Reneedisney...when will you be going? Arthur and I will be there for our honeymoon too next May 26-June 5th. :) Does anyone have any pictures of the new rooms?

Does anyone know the rehab schedule, like when the regular rooms (non-concierge) are scheduled to be done?

Thanks for the update, Laura.

We won't be staying concierge:( . Would you mind telling me if there are any differences in the regular rooms and concierge rooms, as far as furniture and layout? Is the difference in the rooms only small things like robes in the room, makeup mirrors, and an extra TV speaker in the bathrooms?

I know about concierge services, but was just wondering about the rooms themselves.

Mom of 5, the rooms used to have a different decor, but I am not sure now! good question, I'll find out soon and let you all know!

I have not heard of any rehab on Storm a long bay.
The reason for the rehab on the rooms is because of the addition of the Beach Club Villas. The Yacht,Beach and BCV are all tied into one resort, so they wanted all of it to be brand new!

They have finished the concierge floor, then they moved to the 4th floor, it should be complete any day now, then they'll move to the 3rd floor, and so on. after completetion of the YC, they will begin on the 5th floor of the BC....

The rooms and lounge sound wonderful! Although I doubt I'll be staying in concierge anytime soon, I'm also anxious to hear about the regular rooms rehab. If anyone takes pictures, please post!!!:D
