Fantastic Sales at Kids R Us!

Wanted to give those of you who are shopping for back-to-school clothes a heads-up.

I was at KRU (f.y.i., this is a children's clothing store owned and operated by Toys R Us) this past Saturday and couldn't believe the deals. I asked and was told the same sales would be running through this week as well.

I bought DS a great pair of Nikes for only $26.50. All name brand athletic shoes are 30% off their regular KRU prices, which is especially good because KRU's regular prices are decent.

Lee's and Levi's jeans are 25% off list price. It's a good deal, but even better is this: KRU's New Legend label jeans are only $8.88 a pair. I bought three for DS. And Carter's pajamas are 25% off KRU's regular prices.

There were excellent deals everywhere I looked in the store, but these were the ones that really caught my eye. Just wanted to share in case it helps someone.

We stocked up on undershirts from KRS. I received a 20% off coupon in the mail and the t's were on sale for 2 packs for $8. With 20% off they were only $3.20 a three pack.
DS wanted spiderman shoes, but they didn't have any in his size so we went to payless and got Hot Wheels shoes. Now he thinks he is racing when he runs. :D

Nuke, were they the ones with the little wheels on the side of the soles? Those are so cute!

I had to get DS zip-up Nikes because he's still struggling with tying his own shoes. In school this year, they won't do it for him anymore, so I wanted to give him a break on gym day at least.

He's in trouble the rest of the week, though. Black lace-up oxfords are the only things he can wear with his regular uniform.
