After our fabulous stay at Saratoga Springs last year where else would we stay!?!

With a room request of Congress Park, with a balcony over looking the lake

We truly love this hotel the location couldn't be better for a Down Town Disney Shopaholic

Top Secret I am hoping to upgrade us to a 1 Bed villa just with wedding costs not 100% sure the funds are with us

Pumba: I ate Like a pig
Timon: Pumba you are a pig
Pumba: Oh!!!

Yes we will also feel like pigs lol with the return of free Disney dining

Dave is very excited about this the thought of all that food steak in particular

Thanks for your report :goodvibes:goodvibes we are staying at saratoga for the first time in august - why do you prefer congress park??

No Problem we love it its the closest to Down town Disney and not too far from main building! Also if you are visiting a hotel or say Boardwalk and those buses don't go to other hotels (I think I am sure some one else can confirm that) You can get the bus to Down town Disney and the bus stop at Down town Disney was a 4 minute walk from our room last year so nice and quick

I don't know if you are interested but this is a link to my TR from last year has some information about Saratoga in there some where http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2318391

Disney is the perfect place for a honeymoon! We love Saratoga too!

I would have a sneaky sip off Dave's
I have never tried to buy a drink in the USA
I was really surprised though a few times we went out we were given alcoholic drinks from CM's as a engagement celebration

I am also asked for ID alot here as well! At least they are doing their job well :D

We too love Congress Park because we can stagger back from Downtown Disney, in fact even walk to the crossroads restaurants. Not sure we will be able to walk this year as staying in a treehouse which is a further walk.

Hope you enjoy all your planning and have the bestest time

We been back a few days all the washing is done and all our photos are loaded so I am ready to start my TR

Our flight wasn't till 4 in the afternoon so we had a lazy morning and time to do a few jobs around the flat, we took Flopsy to Dave's dad popped to the bank and picked up some lunch for me Dave mum and dad.

Sammi and Becky were at 6th form in the morning they got back at about one just enough time for a quick change before the taxi got there at 1.30.

The taxi journey was very quick before we knew it we were wheeling our case's in the airport. Mum had checked us in on line and we had no check in luggage so straight to security which felt very strange.

After a few drinks in the bar and a look round duty free we were ready to board I hate all the push and shove of easy jet flights and the bus they cram you on to take you to the aeroplane.

The flight was very uneventful and quick. With no bags to pick up it was very quick the other side too. :worship: Our Taxi driver had just arrived as we approached the door good timing he didnt speak much English but he was very polite took our bags and off we went. We hit some traffic on the way but we were there in no time.

The hotel was very busy when we arrived and had to wait a while before we checked in. We were all upgraded to the Admirals floor and breakfast.

We didn't have any dining reservations for our first night we thought we would try annette's :scared1: the que was out the door there were probably about 25-30 people queing outside. Steakhouse didn't have any thing till 10 (It was 8.30 at the time)

We went to New York hotel to try our luck there they said no and that they were fully booked all night mum asked them if they could check any where else for us they tapped on the computer and said we could eat here. We were a bit confused but relieved we were starving.

When we were shown our table the place was dead there were more enpty tables then full and only one other family arrived once we arrived
The food was all very good especially the desert the apple pie the pastry was perfect and chocolate moose! Sorry no pictures I was just so hungry I finished it all was very good.

Becky Sammi Me Dave and dad after our dinner

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/P1010502.jpg

After dinner we decided it was a bit early to head back yet so we went to the bar for a drink each

All of us having a drink in the Manhattan bar
http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/P1010513.jpg

Becky and Sammi had a Mai Tai I think :confused3
http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/P1010508.jpg

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/P1010506.jpg

Mum had a pina colada
http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/P1010511.jpg

Dad had a bit of a dell boy drink all he was missing was the umbrella
http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/P1010510.jpg

Dave had a tequlia sunrise
http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/P1010509.jpg

And I had a glow tini

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/P1010503.jpg

I had fun with the glowing cube lol

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/P1010515.jpg

So after an expensive round 68 euro's we decide to head back for a good night sleep ready for Sammi's 18th birthday in the morning.

I didn't sleep well all night I was constantly turning struggling to sleep with only one pillow (Why do hotels only give you one pillow?)

Sammi's alarm went off at 6 and I thought I'll get up in a second but I fell straight to sleep and it was the best sleep I had all night! Dave woke me up to ask what the time was? I was shocked to see it was 7.10 Sammi wanted to be at the park for 8:scared1:

So after a quick shower dressed hair and every thing done mum and dad come in to give Sammi her presents because today was her 18th birthday :cool1:

We had a VIP breakfast today (That is what the man at the hotel reception desk called it) and it was lovely :cloud9: Very relaxed nothing like the bun fights as my dad calls it in the buffet area

They had warm foods such as scrambled egg bacon sausages then there was a selection of croissants, yoghurt, bread roll, ham, cheese, cereals and toast all drinks were served and brought to you at your table there was only one other family in there at the time we were in there very relaxing :cloud9:

A few pictures from breakfast

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/P1010518.jpg

Me enjoying a lovely morning coffee

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/P1010519.jpg

It was 9 o'clock and Sammi was desperate to get to the park by now so me Sammi Becky and Dave went on to the park!

Well all I can say is unless you have small children EMH isn't really worth it! Buzz light year was opening and was the only ride we did in EMH, Tea cups dumbo, Peter Pan, the carousel was also open and Space mountain which nobody wanted to go on we looked through the shops as it started to spit with rain and then decided to have a look round the castle.

I rang mum to find she was queing to get to POTC (sorry I can't remember the names of the lands in DLRP if they are the same as WDW or not? Well they were the first people there queing and were hoping to be one of the first to get on POTC! Not such luck they opened then queing area from the other side they then had a young (english) lad open the ride the whole thing was done in French the little lad didnt looked too impressed he was handed a treasure chest and his family were the first on the ride.

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/SDC10228.jpg

I normaly prefer the POTC in DLRP I really didn't enjoy it too much Not sure why must of been missing that hunk Jonny Depp. The woman in front put her poncho on as well  Not sure what she was expecting to happen :rotfl:

Sammi's favourite ride is the Haunted Mansion so off we trot to have a go! It didn't open till 11 so we wandered over to Big thunder mountain which also wasn't open but was able to get fast passes for so we got 2 fast passes each (we bought the special ones of ebay) were all starting to get a bit ticked off about none of the rides being open so we tried to waist 40 minutes in the shop and taking some pictures.

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/P1010525.jpg

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/P1010524.jpg

11 o'clock rolled around and the que for Haunted Mansion was huge :scared1: already. We qued and it quickly disappeared and we were on it in no time. This ride stopped a lot and was quiet boring we didn't ride this again.

Luckily Big thunder Mountain was much better this version is so much better then WDW version we really had a good time on here but it was so cold going round.

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/DSCN0029.jpg

We decided to go over and have something to eat at Casey's this was our first insight in to how much food we would be eating popcorn:: way too much when you are going to weight watchers lol! We had a hot dog HUGE it was chips chocolate cake and a drink I was so stuffed and so was the rest of us except Dave he can always eat more.

The character Express drove past as we were sat eating I liked seeing my favourite Wall-e on there shame there wasn't more Pixar characters though such as Woody and Buzz!

It had started to rain so we decided to stroll through the shops on main street now they were all open! There is nothing like a bit of Disney retail therapy!

We went back to the room for a rest and a change of costumes for our meal at Cafe Mickey to celebrate Sammi's 18th

We got to the door and there were two que's one que with people that had reservations one for people that didn't well there was no one in the que with no reservations just with but no one in the que actually had a reservation but instead of telling people to que correctly they just left it so we had to wait for every one to be told over and over they were fully booked. Finally we got to the desk and checked in for 8.30 reservation and were seated straight away.

Tigger come over as soon as we sat down and he was really funny and kept us very entertained

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/DSCF3068.jpg

Me dad mum and Becky had the Mushrooms to start they were yummy had a lot of salt though, Sammi had the salad and I think Dave had the soup.

After our starters tigger come over again he was really good all night. Goofy also come over for some more pictures

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/P1010554.jpg

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/P1010555.jpg

Our mains were brought over and this is the only food picture I have of the whole trip

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/P1010553.jpg

Me Sammi and Becky had the Lasagne was very good couldn't eat it all though as the characters kept coming round and distracting us lol! Dave and Dad had the steak and Dave said it was the second best steak he has ever had 1st being at Teppan Edo so that steak beat Le Cellier :scared1: and Mum had fish and chips she said it was nice but very greasy.

During our meal the characters got on the tables and started dancing.

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/P1010564.jpg

More characters come round Mr Smee, Captain Hook, Mickey and Minnie.

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/P1010565.jpg
Michael had just pinched Minnie's bum.

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/DSCN0131.jpg

It was then Sammi's turn to have her cake brought over this was really fun when they all come over and danced with us

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/DSCN0100.jpg

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/DSCN0101.jpg

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/DSCN0103.jpg

and after i got to dance with mr smee

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/DSCN0127.jpg

we had our picture with michael he kept saying we would get him in trouble on facebook lol

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/DSCN0130.jpg

We also had a good dance with Michael but I can't find any pictures.

The desert was one of the yummiest I have ever had :D Me mum sammi becky and dave had the chocolate cake and dad had the crem brulee

So the restaurant was nearly empty now so we paid and left all laughing and talking about our best bits we went shopping for a while and then wandered back to the room.

Great day Leanne. We found EMH really weird as well with nothing being open and now I understand why there was such a long queue when we walked past Phantom Manor - it obviously wasn't open!

You don't look too impressed at having your photo taken while you were eating. ;)

We weren't in any rush this morning as we had learnt EMH wasn't worth it and I had a bit too much to drink the night before so I was a bit fragile :headache:

We got up and went down for breakfast at about 9. No VIP breakfast today though!

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/P1010619.jpg

Only picture I have at breakfast not a good one at that

It was very hectic at breakfast and I just wasn't in the mood every one else went on to the park but me and Dave headed back I wanted a quick change.

So we arranged to meet in the studios when I was ready!
http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/SDC10192.jpg

I rang mum when we arrived and she told us they were queing for Crush and were nearly in the building.

Now I can't believe how much we struggled to get to my mum dad sister and Becky in this que! So many people have pushed passed me before and no one has ever said any thing but this one German man (he was about 20 with what I guess was his mum) would not let me pass Dave got passed and he was holding his arms out saying "NO NO" and she said I could wait with them! I was already not in the mood and just jumped over the bar and walked passed her! I hate que jumpers but I can't believe they held me back like that!

I personally don't think much of this ride it is a bit to bumpy and throws me around way too much! I came of feeling even more fragile :headache:

We decided to walk over to tower of terror to get some fast passes and then have a look in all the shops! and I had to have a go on this bike!

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/DSCN0139.jpg
God my hair is a mess true hangover hair lol

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/P1010623.jpg

After some shopping our Fast pass time was here I love Tower of terror and think the DLRP one is better just wish it was in English! Oh yeah and we had a couple que jump us here but they didn't push in front of us all just Dave! They just stood between Dave and me all four of them for the entire time we qued

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/P1010641.jpg

After we headed over for something to eat me and Dave weren't too hungry so we just shared a meal and were still satisfied!

Sammi decided she wanted to go back to the Disney Park! Dave and dad headed of to the sports bar to watch the football (Men!!!) me mum went with Sammi and Becky but decided to go shopping!

This sign is nearly my name just the last E needs to be between the L and A

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/P1010645.jpg

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/SDC10204.jpg

and the character express drove past

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/SDC10210.jpg

The we decided to hang around for the parade but the weather got worse and it was called off so we headed for the village for more shopping and to get the room keys of Dave and dad as we were going to be back before them now.

We headed back to the room for a power nap and shower for the evening

Buffalo Bills Yee Ha

tinks_1989
04-20-2010, 02:57 PM
So after we had all showered changed and was ready for our evening we headed out the weather still not great though!

I was so hungry by this point I just couldn't wait any longer and knew there was still a wait till we even got in Buffalo bills let alone be served so me and Dave shared some chicken nuggets! Yummy love chicken nuggets they are my favourite I could live of them lol!

We were in the green! Me and Dave were in green last time we come so we are true greener's lol

We tried to take some pictures before
http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/P1010658.jpg

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/P1010659.jpg

lol they didn't get any better

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/P1010660.jpg

So after a bit of a wait we headed on down to the red and green corner (i think it was red and green :S)

We watched the juggler and goofy came out and did a bit of a dance with a band it filled some time I guess lol!

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/P1010666.jpg

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/P1010670.jpg
I look more like a hill billy then a cow girl lol

This was the first time we were seeing buffalo bill since mickey had become part of the cast and I prefer it with out! Sorry Mickey we love you but this isn't your best appearance! The bit where they are sat round the camp fire and Mickey and Minnie sing to each other is really quiet boring we like all the games and the banging and shouting ye ha!!!

Our green team won two of the games and the rest of the groups won one but we lost the last game and yellow one!!! BOOO!!!!

Our clown was great really good fun! But of course we all got a chocolate coin any way lol!!

After buffalo bills a last bit of shopping was done then we all headed back to the room to pack and a well needed sleep!

Our last day! We got up and finished packing Mum, dad and Sammi went down for breakfast but Dave, Becky and I didn't bother as it was busy when we went the day before. Mum brought us back some yoghurt's but I still wasn't bothered.

We all wanted to do our own thing this morning so we all wandered off to do our own thing and arranged to meet at Casey's at 12.30 for lunch.

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/P1010709.jpg

Me and Dave went to the studio's to have a look round the shops. I had a Mickey Brioche Yummy!

We headed back to the Disney Park and took some more pictures it was really cold this morning and I was really taking my time in the shop much to Dave's delight lol!!

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/P1010521.jpg

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/P1010522.jpg

Mum text me saying they were in Honey I shrunk the audience and would be late! So we thought we would walk to the exit of the attraction and wait for them there we then get a phone call asking where we are as they are waiting at casey's I dont know what happened there but we decided to meet at the Counter service place where the shows used to be I can't remember the name of it  We had lunch there more fries I haven't eaten fries since this trip lol

Mum got fastpasses for us all to go on Buzz together as my mum and Dave had been wanting to battle each other!

We had a great time on buzz mainly because Dave had a broken gun so he lost and I have never beaten his score before so I was chuffed lol

We had a look round some more shops and headed over to the castle and had a look round some more shops Dave and my dad was really enjoying it lol! For this first time of the trip we saw some blue sky!

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/DSCN0163.jpg
Me trying to be buzz lightyear to infinity and beyond lol

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/DSCN0170.jpg

We had all had enough and was getting very tiered so we headed back to the hotel to wait for the taxi.

We didn't have to wait long the taxi driver was early so we got our bags and off we went! The trip seem to last forever I saw desperate for a the toilet.

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/DSCN0179.jpg

We didn't have to check in again and just went through security and waited for a bit before having to go to the gate and being locked in there. The boring wait was over and we went in to the gate 40 minutes before our flight was due to take off but it was delayed half hour but we were soon on our plane and soon back home in Bristol with nothing to report on.

We had a little wait for a taxi but he was there soon enough. We collected our car from my mum and dad's and went to pick Flopsy up before heading home

So we are 18 weeks till the big day this weekend :scared1: and I wanted to share some details with you guys and just generally have some where to let off some steam :rotfl:

We are only having a small ceremony as Dave is quite shy and we both wanted to keep it to just family and good friends we consider as family

Our venue is a small country hotel about 3 and half miles from where we live.

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/11e.jpg

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/20e.jpg

The entire day is going to be held here our ceremony is going to be held in a room on the side where unfortunately I don't have any pictures of.

After a few photos and some champagne in the gardens (weather permitting)

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/7e.jpg

As a newly married couple with our family we will be having our wedding breakfast a few speach's and cake :woohoo:

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/31e.jpg

Later in the evening our other guests will be arriving for a dance a few drink and some more great food.

This weekend Dave, my mum, dad and I are all going for a meal to sample the food we will be having on the wedding day. I'm hoping to sneak some pictures and do a food report

Woodlands (http://www.woodlands-hotel.co.uk/weddings.htm)]in case any one wants have a look at the venue

We got married 3 years ago in a country pub - fairly similar to your venue - we had just the best day ever. Had a bbq/buffet type thing with just a top table set up - everyone else could sit with whom and where they wanted. :goodvibes

If your OH is quite shy you could maybe think about having speeches straight after the ceremony? We did this as we kinda wanted to get them out of the way to leave the rest of the afternoon free and so that DF & DH didnt have to spend the afternoon worrying about doing them. It works a treat in this less formal setting - well we thought so anyway :rotfl:

Am looking forward to keeping up with your plans x x

Thanks for reading I really didn't think any one was actually going to read :rotfl: I thought this was just going to be like a bridezilla diary :lmao:

I don't think he is too worried about speeches I haven't really spoke to him about it! But because it is just our friend and family (Total of 28 including us) I think he will feel quiet comfortable!

I have been reading some wedding magazine and it seems to be more comon for the bride to do a speech as well so I have been looking at some on line and I am looking in to! I always have to have my say :lmao:

Hi Leanne - can't believe I missed your amazing PTR/TR until now!! Sorry!!

All your plans sound amazing! It's lovely to hear how much you like SSR, am I right in thinking that if we ever want to get to DTD from a park we're best to go to SSR and wait until the Congress Park stop?

Your ADRs all look great, and I think 8.25 will be the perfect time to enjoy a meal at Narcoosees and watch the fireworks! Have you put wedding and honeymoon all over your ADR so you have a good chance at a window seat?

DLRP looked amazing! How did you like NPB? We are really starting to miss DLRP but it'll be at least 2012 before I get to see that beautiful castle again. We've not done Buffalo Bills but you do make it sound fun.

Your wedding venue looks lovely. I can't wait to hear all about it, and hope you have the day of your dreams.

Hello

Thats ok hun it's mainly here for me to jot some thoughts down :)

Yes if you get the bus SSR and hop of at Congress Park you can walk from there I don't know if Jack is bothered by golf but you could get off at the first stop have a look at the LBV gold course and then get the boat

Oh yes honeymoon reservation is noted EVERY WHERE :rotfl: not expecting any freebies but we hope to only get married once so going to make the most if it :cutie: I really hope we can see the fireworks from Narcoosees but we are going here mainly for Dave's love of Lobster :rotfl:

DLRP was really good can't believe how quick it has gone since though :scared1: Buffalo bills was AMAZING so much fun (Dave loves the free beer) but Cafe Mickey was the best :hippie: New port bay was lovely massive though glad we didn't have to walk too far our room was fine I have read some real horror stories. We think we are going to leave DLRP now till we have kids

Thanks Torsie going to update with all our final ADR's as they have changed so many times now :rotfl:

Your venue looks lovely, it's very quaint and traditional. :goodvibes

Looking forward to hearing more details! :thumbsup2

Thanks! You must be so excited about DLRP hope the weather is good are you doing a TR on your return?

I been thinking about Animal Kingdom a lot today and thought I'd like to share with you what I am looking forward to and going to try
Add your Animal Kingdom Favourites as well (Photos are more then welcome)

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/treeoflife.jpg

I think me and Dave will have to shares these as I couldn't manage both on my own :rotfl: Well I could but my weight Watchers leader will not like me after this trip as it is :rotfl:

I have seen this on the Disney food blog website (I was addicted to when our 180 days was getting closer ;)

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/whitechocolatecupcake.jpg

This is a White Chocolate Elephant Cupcake and can be found at Animal Kingdom’s Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery. it's made of chocolate cake and topped with Vanilla frosting and toasted coconut
But the best part that Elephant is edible and is white chocolate he is almost too cut to eat though (just almost)

This one just looks yummy and some thing I would be drawn to even if I hadn't read about it

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/Paw-Print-Brownie.jpg

It's a paw print brownie it has gooey layer of chocolate frosting between the cake and chocolate paw print I am literally drooling

I haven't read much about this place yet but I think Dave will enjoy a sit down here with a nice cold beer

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/ExEv-yachtsman-akpicnic-044.jpg

I did look at the cocktail menu as well and since we are there I am sure I could indulge in one

My Favourite ride of all time

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/DSCF1396.jpg

I love it Dave isn't so keen on the story behind it but I don't listen I am too busy looking for that lion

I have never seen Mickeys Jammin Jungle Parade
But I will this year

I really want to take my time looking at the tree of life this year we did a bit more last year but I would love to find a map or some details of where I can find what animals where etc
If any one has any info on the tree of life please share I love that tree

Then theres the obvious
Dinosaur
Everest
Its tough to be a bug
Finding nemo the musical
Festival of the lion king
All the trails
And if I have any room Mango pie from Yak and Yeti

My Favourite at Animal Kingdom is Festival of the Lion King

http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t120/wickesy/WDW%202009/DSCF0349.jpg

And my guilty secret is I've never looked at the detail on The Tree Of Life at all.

David!!!! You have to have a walk round the tree!! We spent ages looking at it, it really is amazing!

In fact it's one of our favourite things in AK. So I'll put these photos for you Leanne. :)

Look at this!!! I could literally look at it for hours, and you still wouldn't find all the creatures in there! Amazing! Jack and I stood for ages jsut going "Can you see the ant?! Can you see the squirrels?" and people were bustling past. Maybe we're just weirdos...

I just realised I missed my double digit dance :scared1: been so busy with the wedding I can't believe it has come round so quick! only 94 days till WDW and only 89 days till wedding

We are getting married in 12 weeks on Saturday! So every thing is very full on with the wedding planning at the moment and the diet

Other news my wedding dress now fits perfectly I bought it 2 dress sizes smaller then what I was and it now does up properly :banana::banana:

We have decided to take our laptop this year and hoping to do a live trippie :)

Dave can also book his golf next Tuesday so I hope to do that when I get back from work that day for a surprise

Not much else to report just thought I would write a small update if any one is still reading this :rotfl:

Just caught up with this - Cafe Mickey & Buffalo Bills look brilliant! Mind you, it's a bit weird seeing pictures of people walking around Disney in coats and stuff! It's the main reason we've not bothered with DLP so far - the weather just cannot compete with Florida.

On the wedding front, we didn't get married there (Bridgwater Register Office for us!) but we did spend our wedding night at Woodlands, and it was lovely! It was 16 years ago, but it doesn't look like it's changed too much in your pics, so I'm sure you'll have a fab time :goodvibes:yay::goodvibes

Hi Leanne!

Not sure how I hadn't seen this before! :confused3 But I'm caught up now!!

Looks like you had fun at Paris; my DBF and I went 2 years ago and had an amazing time! We did Cafe Mickeys too... no ADRs for us, just walked in! Although neither of us really remember what food we had, we were so excited Mickey Mouse was there!!

Congratulations on getting married super soon... (again, how did I not know!!:lmao:) Very excited to hear about the rest of your wedding and WDW plans!!

Cafe Mickey and Buffalo Bill was brilliant having to wear your coat still in April is the strange thing :rotfl: We went in January the year before sure it was warmer :lmao:

I don't think it has changed much just the owners from what I understand! Such a small town where we live :rotfl2:

Aww! No upcoming marriages for me or my friends yet! So, I'm only counting down to Christmas!!
Hehe, yeh maybe Dave should think about his suit! :goodvibes

I will be within the next few days... we're off site though as there is 8 of us for 2 weeks!
Looking at surprising my family on Christmas Day with 'Tusker House' breakfast a coupla days later... I want to do Cindrellas breakfast, but Tom (my DBF) isn't too keen :sad2: and then I think we're looking at 'Garden Grill' for lunch/ dinner too.
Just need to sort out kinks with my family, as we don't normally do reservations, we just eat when we want to!
...But then none of them have ever done character dining!!

Good luck sweet, chat soon I'm sure :rotfl:

Tell Tom you must go me and Dave got engaged there :lovestruc:lovestruc:lovestruc I love it there just the atmosphere of eating in a castle is good enough but if you get the window seat like we did its just amasing watching over Fantasy land eating your dinner

I don't exactly enjoy the fast we have all these ADR's I would much rather walk in I like to go back to the room and freshen up before our meals but it says on Disney website to allow 2 and 1/2 hours if relying on disney transport :scared1: Im sure we didnt have to last year

But as I'm a princess at heart  I think CRT would be the perfect place. Especially as if we do an early breakfast and can get into the park mega early!!

2 and 1/2 hours?? Really?! Wow, that's pretty extreme! We're staying in a villa off-site, and so plan to spend as much time in the parks as possible...
We're gonna need a holiday to chill out after this one!

Today is our 3 month milestone and I am so excited I woke up really early all excited about

I don't know if it is because it's going to be our first bit of Disney or because I am in desperate need of a goofy's Candy fix :rotfl:

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/jm-entrance-300x2251.jpg

Love this place I love the goofy sour candy's and the mickey rice krispie treats :cloud9:

I also can't wait to try one of these

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/cookes-doh-bar.jpg

What is it? Its a battered snickers bar gross I know but I really want to see what it is like I have never tried one before.

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/cookes-doh-bar-cross-section.jpg

But our first taste of Disney will be at this place

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/earl-of-sandwich.jpg

Every body's favourite counter service in WDW I never know what to have everything looks so good Last year I tried the special thanksgiving Turkey and the Hawaiian both delicious. Can't wait I'm drooling just the thought of it.

But of course its not all about food at Down town Disney I also LOVE the shopping Dave will probably say too much. The world of Disney shop is like heaven to me :cloud9: I prefer the way it used to be when they had all the different size mad hatter hat's and shelves to the celling of cuddly toys playing Disney films and cartoons on the tv's you would find a group of children all sat with their favourite Disney character teddy watching a Disney classic :wizard:

I cant wait to sit on one of these

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/2984689838_bd955343e6.jpg

They always make me smile I say every year I want to sit on them but we never have time as me and Dave have only ever been for a week together

and who doesn't smile when they see this guy

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/downtown-disney-address.jpg

Last year we didn't arrive to Down town Disney till 9.30pm (2.30am UK time) and we had been travelling since 6.30am (UK time) and Dave was really tiered I was hyper from the Disney excitement and Dave gave me my ultimatum one Disney shop :scared1: just one!

Disney's days of Christmas where else :rotfl: the smell of cinnamon as you walk in is the best!

So if any of you have any favourite Down town Disney places or something you are looking forward to please share with me I am so excited today :woohoo:

lol I dont think it does take 2 and half hours as we are staying at Saratoga Springs we don't have to get connecting bus E.G if you wanted to go to Boardwalk you would have to get a bus to Epcot or Hollywood Studios then make your way from there either by bus or by foot. But going to down town disney we can get a bus to Boardwalk or any other hotel

Its brilliant I remember our first full night we were at the Boardwalk till 12 and we were both shattered after a full day in the park then a few hours there just being able to get one bus home is so much easier. I would defiantly suggest requesting Congress park it was perfect

the bierkeller is great fun its bit of a german theme:sad1: you can drink from 2 pint stein beer glasses you get a german umpah band playing and then a disco, everybody ends up dancing on the tables at the end of the night, its different but good fun.

So the dress! I love this dress I saw it online a when we first got engaged and loved it! I went wedding dress shopping a few times with mum and tried on lots of different dress and nothing was like WOW just from seeing the picture on
line I showed one lady in the dress shop and she showed me some thing quiet similar I did really like it but it still wasnt like this other dress! Mum said to me just to go for it and get it! So I did and 3 days later it was here :lovestruc

http://www.barratts.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product1_10055_-1_136927_10553

Hen night was Saturday night! It was brilliant we had so much fun! The chinese was yummy and the restaurant was beautiful very posh! LOL! I will add some photos but Im not at home at the moment I am my mum's!

We have met with our photographer again he is lovely he makes me really giggly though he is a bit skaty lol! Had a few photos with him he is doing us a a photo in a frame so every one can sign it on the day!

Have my hair trial on Thursday so will have some more photos to update with!

Dave has finally sorted all his outfit the cravats are a perfect match to the bridesmaids dress' I was worried as we were buying online and can never tell just from a picture!

Both our birthdays have also passed Dave had to work on my birthday so I spent it with my sister shopping :D and mum had every one round hers as our flat just isnt big enough it was meant to be a bbq but the good old english weather put a stop to that!
Daves birthday was filled with wedding planning, football and cake lol!

Work is also crazy thats why I havent really updated as just been so tired when I get home there used to be 3 of us that did highlights colours and perms and gone to just me! Helping to save for some dollars though :)

Zummerset66 and his family recently went to WDW and brought me back the Disney bride and groom ears I am so excited Dave doesnt know about them I cant believe I kept it a secret I am terrible normally but thanks so much again Matt and Claire!

There is one more thing but I am going to wait till Thursay to share that with you guys so please look out for one more update :D

Thanks for reading my rambling

Saturday Night was my Hen Night and was I looking forward to a good dance! I had to go to work at 9 till 1 and was very busy but managed to get away on time! Sammi (My sister and Maid of Honor) and I went to a few shops to cllect some last bits and pieces. Sammi wanted a new pair of shoes she literally has 100's already but what's one more pair? So after an hour or two in town dodging all the holiday makers (we went to Weston Super Mare was a busy Saturday) Sammi dropped me back and went home to get ready. I had a bath watched a bit of tv painted my nails did my hair and finally got dressed just before my first guest Kate arrived me and Kate had worked together when we were both training to be hairdressers Kate is like the best friend a girl could have :lovestruc Love her.

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/45200_1351537038563_1535504941_30767324_4353317_n. jpg

This is us at mine before any would had arrived.

40 minutes later mother Bear was knocking on the door and was ready for some dancing. After a little chat and David leaving a he said there was too many women here :lmao: Every one else arrived Becky Sadie and Nicky I also worked with them where I worked with Kate! Sammi and her best friend Geri also arrived at the same time and not long after the taxi was outside :woohoo: (Unfortunately a few of my friends couldn't come due to other parties and one had broke her foot :0 ) So it was a small group that night!

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/45200_1351537078564_1535504941_30767325_7313896_n. jpg

Sadie is on the left and Nicky on the right

We arrived in Bristol in the pouring down rain :( and the taxi wasnt too sure where the Chinese was but we found it

(I took these pics from the website i'm not that good of a photographer)

So we got inside it was very posh not like our Chinese. LOL. My cousin Amanda met us here as she lives in Bristol. We all had set menu and it was very good lots of food!

So after a very filling meal we made our way to the water front as the rain had stopped and wasn't sure how long it would hold of again. With a quick stop at the cash point we arrived at McKenzie bar

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/Mackenzies_br_loc3.jpg

There was alot of other stag and hen nights in here so it was very lively but I just couldnt wait to dance so off I went

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/40510_426609264323_728034323_4750322_6504329_s.jpg

Geri Sammi Kate a stag me and Amanda

The First stag group we met all had to wear funny wigs! The stag was Scottish and was wearing a quilt and underneath he had a very large fake well I don't need to tell you what it was lol

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/44417_1351541358671_1535504941_30767339_6344688_n. jpg
Me Amanda and Becky

After a few more songs my friend Chelsea and Emily arrived I dont have any pictures of them though!

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb57/tinkerbellbennett/41292_1351546798807_1535504941_30767353_4006233_n. jpg

Another stag group we met and the best man looked like Dave they could of been brothers! So after more dancing it went very quick and the taxi was here already.

It was brilliant night and when i see every one elses photos i might update some more

Aw thanks! :cutie:

So I am so sorry that this TR seems to be forgotten about it hasn't I promise but it seems to be one thing after another at home at the moment.

We found out that we are having a baby girl and everything is healthy and all ok so very happy.

We currently live in a flat on the second floor I am sure people have lived on higher floors and had babies but for some reason one day we decided to look at a house the blubbering pregnant mess I am fell in love with it now we are trying to move so have all the stress of mortgage and everything to sort out.

I love this time of year but we all know Christmas takes up some of our free time, so between all that getting everything ready for the baby before the VAT increase going to work seeing friends and family and squeezing in little sleep I have just been so busy.

I hope to start our TR soon I just need to find the card reader to lad all my photos luckily I took notes of every day of the holiday as I can't remember what I had for breakfast let along what I ate at le Cellier back in September some time and if it was good or not lol

So I promise an update soon

Thank you to every one that did take time to read any of my crazy message

Helllo Beautiful sister,

I enjoyed reading your trip report although it was mostly about the wedding :) Loved reading it and seeing how happy it all made you :) Not long till Christmas and then time will fly and my beautiful niece will be here with us.
Get some honeymoon photos up! xoxo

How exciting that you're having a girl. Have you thought about names?

Don't worry about not updating your TR by the way- you have a lot going on!
