disboard trip

anyone ever think of doing a disboard grand gathering. book some sites and then have addons. get a whole loop or two one with pets one without. that way everyone can meet. or at least some. so it on a weekend like friday thru monday. that way the locals can come in and then some out of towners can come in the week before and stay till the end or start it and end the next week. i think it would be cool. last year i was there about 9 times and never bumped into another diser. of course i never got my green mickey till the last two trips, but i would look for the green ears

Just about every member of the camping board was there at the end of October. It was fun

We are doing a Disboards group reservation for July 4th and Oct, Halloween week. I have 10 sites reserved for July and Oct I have 20. I had posted a thread on the boards if anyone was interested, you probably didn't see it. I might have extra sites, if you are interested let me know and I will pm you with all the details.
That's what we did last year a few times and had a great time.
I know that in Oct everyone had a blast, we also did over July 4th, I do hope we have as great a time this year.

yeah i was there for halloween and did not catch up with anyone. was busy. i am also booked for halloween weekend this year. i actually heard something about a flipped boat and mexico but could not get the full story. is there any open spots for july 4th. i will definitley try and get together with some folks halloween. what loop are you guys on for halloween

mk199, there is no GG #, it is a group reservation and to make it you have to go thru group reservations with the number. If you were interested in taking one of the group sites, I can let you know if there is any available, but have to wait untill all that said they wanted the sites to book. Let me know.
Also you don't have to be in on the group reservation to party with us, if they tell us what loop we are in I will post it. They could tell us the wrong loop, like in Oct. But we will all have our Dis signs out so look for them.

group reservation that I made is 10/28/10 - 11/3/10 and days can be added before or after if they have them. As of now everyone who said they wanted a site has not booked, so I might have a few extra. lorna as for now me and mk199 already have site booked for halloween we have another group that we go with everyyear from our local fire departments we travel and have our own camping group for camping outside of fortwilderness and we all are coming there for our 2nd halloween so id o not think we need sites. but if you could let us know about the loop and we will try and book that one
