Just wondering if anyone wants to do a breakfast together on December 9th. I am not planning on going to the parks that day since I have to leave for the airport around 3pm. So I was gonna try and find a nice place to have breakfast and then maybe go stroll around DD for a bit before heading back to gather my bags and stuff to head to the airport.

If anyone would like to join me (and we won't be going very early since some of us are doing MVMCP the night before and won't be getting in until VERY late!!!!) just post here and maybe some suggestions. I've never eaten at Kona and I hear that is very yummy (but I don't know if they do breakfast). Perhaps we could do like a 9am breakfast or something. I'm even game to try 1900 Park Faire but not really up to doing a character breakfast either, but if needed I do this one. Or if there is a place that anyone knows of at DD that would be good too.

Chris, Kona Cafe does do breakfast. That's where you can get the infamous "tonga toast"!!!! It's banana stuffed french toast and it's to die for!!!!!! :D I don't know what I'm up to that morning, yet, but I'll keep it in mind.

Last year we did Boma's on the day after the official end of DIScon 2001 and MVMCP. I've never eaten at the Kona, so pencil me in as a definite probably maybe.

I'll probably be around that morning as I'm probably off back to the airport that day too although I may stay on longer if I can wangle it to spend some quality WDW time on my own and make use of the DISCon room rate when it's finally released.

I'm gonna have to satart making a diary of unofficial meets I keep forgetting what I've said I'll go to ;)

This sounds good, but I have to pack BEFORE breakfast this year:rolleyes:
Last year I had to rush off from breakfast to pack because I was too tired the night before. So this year, I WILL pack before breakfast so I can have a leisurely breakfast and not have to race back to pack.

So I am a defiante confirmed maybe. LOL! Can't wait for the official list so we can plan for real! (Now I'm hungry. Please pass the tonga toast!)

Count us in for this one. We will be part of the MVMCP crowd on the 8th, too, & will be leaving on the 9th. Sounds like a great way to wrap up. :teeth:

Count us in! We arrive at the Poly on 12/8 and I was hoping we'd be able to meet some Dis'ers while we are there. Breakfast at Kona sounds ideal.

Cool Joyful!!!!!!! We'd love to have you join us!!!! Also if you are looking for something for dinner on the 8th a bunch of us (I think we are up to maybe 60 now) are having dinner at Chef Mickey's at 5 before we head to MK for MVMCP...you are more than welcome to join us there too!!!!
