My DH woke me up last night to tell me...

that I was SLEEP DEPRIVED!!! :p  :p

I consistently fall fast asleep within about 5 minutes of going to bed. Head touches the pillow and it is LIGHTS OUT for me! Last night, I did my usual crash and burn routine. Almost immediately afterwards, I feel someone shaking me and when I opened my eyes - there was my DH staring at me... and he announces...

"JUST WANTED TO TELL YOU THAT YOU ARE SLEEP DEPRIVED"

Apparently he had just finished listening to an NPR program that discussed the fact that people who sleep as few hours as I do AND who fall instantly asleep when they do go to bed - are sleep deprived - which I believe is probably true by the way - but did he have to WAKE me up to tell me?! ;) :p  :p

I told him to quit being a part of the problem and become a part of the solution:

Shut UP and let me SLEEP! :p

My SO has learned if he must wake me up, he needs to do it in a very un-stupid manner. He might get hurt if he wakes me up to tell me I'm sleep deprived.

I don't get much sleep and it takes me forever to go to sleep after I go to bed. I'd figure I'd be in the sleep deprived category. I'd love to be like you and fall asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. How do you do that?

My DH always says that I snore & my position has always been deny, deny, deny. One night he woke me up to play me a tape of what he "claimed" was me snoring. How Rude! I believed him at first but then later upon hearing the story my MIL said I should stick to my original denial b/c he couldn't actually prove it was me on the tape.;)

I am the same way...out very quickly. Every once in a while I will have difficulty going to sleep, not too often. I am one that is always going, so when I do sit down and do nothing but watch television I am out.

He couldn't wait until the morning to tell you?? My DH knows that I have a hard time falling back asleep, so to wake me when I am, someone had better be in the hospital or he will be!!! ;)

Lars, I do not believe that tape is admissable in court and is therefore null and void. :p
