Now WHY would an employer only pay once a month? I suppose it is cheaper for them to do that, but how AWFUL to try and budget that way!

Yikes! A paycheck once a month would take a lot of budgeting so you don't run out of money.

I have never worked anywhere that had a monthly pay system. I know they exist... but I have always had bi-weekly or semi-monthly on a fixed date.

That must be a happy day indeed! :)

LOL, Browneyes! Our state is great for services, but awful for taxes! You would for SURE have to get paid more than monthly to live here!

We both get paid today because our school system thinks that once a month is the way to go. Dh and I are so excited to finally see some money today! July was a looong month for us.

I know my best friend gets paid once a month. It's a wonder he doesn't go crazy before the month is over...

I get paid every 2 weeks. Monthly would be ok with me, but I'd be itching to spend it when I got it. LOL. :)
