Hi,

I am going to disneyland in just 18 sleeps and starting to think about packing and what I need to take with me. I will be bringing my 18 month old son with me who still struggles to eat "proper" food and eats lots of fruit pots, baby food jars etc. Will I be able to take these with me as handluggage or will I need to taste them? Also if I bring pouches/pots will these be likely to burst in my suitcase whilst flying. Also does anyone know if there is baby food to buy in disney? Sorry for the boring questions!!!

Thanks, Sharon

I would have thought you will have to put them in your hold luggage ~ if you wrap them well they should be fine.

Hopefully someone else will soon be along to help with rest. :)

I brought tubs with me in hold luggage (Plum Baby food) when my daughter was 6 mths old. I also had the small cartons of SMA in there too & there loads of them and nothing leaked or burst, so I'd say you will be safe enough. Once I even had a pint of milk in my hold luggage because we were travelling late at night & I wouldn't be able to get milk until the morning & that was OK too.

I haven't ever brought jars/pouches through security as I would expect to have to taste them. Maybe someone else will know about that.

There are jars for sale Disney in the baby care centre, but I didn't pay much attention to them as I had brought my own. Maybe you could take a trip to a supermarket to stock up when you're there, one stop away on the train at Val d'Europe.
