Hiya,
Anyone held their full reception at Epcot, not just the dessert party? If so, how was it? Also can you have the characters there or any other entertainment (Jazz trio etc)? Thanks x

We had our reception at Living Seas Salon after our ceremony in the American Adventure Rotunda. We also considered a reception at the American Adventure Parlor. I am betting you're probably curious about World Showcase reception locations, but if not let me know and I can share some pictures :goodvibes
Heidi held a Welcome Dinner in Italy the night before her wedding, so it wasn't a regular reception, but here is a link to it.

If your reception is outdoors, you can't have entertainment or characters. I remember a couple people having evening receptions in Italy. Just note that the food and beverage minimums at the various terraces around World Showcase Lagoon are a lot higher for receptions than for dessert parties. :thumbsup2

If you're looking for something different, we are having our reception at the Bistro de Paris at Epcot. It has a great view of the park and we have a really nice menu as well. The F&B minimum is a little pricey but you don't really need to decorate because the restaurant is beautiful all on its own.

But you can't wear your dress right?

I am wearing my dress. I'm hoping we can sneak a couple of shots around France in my dress before the reception starts too but we shall see.
The Bistro de Paris usually isn't open until 4:00 p.m. I believe, so we are getting the whole restaurant. They came up with a custom brunch menu for us and everything because they don't usually serve brunch. It's a really great intimate space (it can seat up to around 120 i believe). We are expecting around 65 people.
