Well guys, ive arrived back in the UK after a nice 8 1/2 flight.....and Im sad to be back, ive had an absolutley amazing time in Orlando as per normal.....Heres what happened....
Brief Summary
Seeing as ive just got back and the jet lag has majorley kicked in, I thought I would just do a brief summary before over the next few days giving you guys a day by day report on this thread with some pics.......
The Good.....
The Highlight has to be my Night at Orlando Magic V Dallas Mavericks, What an incredible night that is!!! Great seats, great tour guide, the food and the atmopshere has left me wanting more!
Rip Ride N Rock It - Without a doubt the best ride ive ever been on. The feeling when your going upwards listening to I Will Survive....i actually got off that ride feeling taken aback!
The Food - As per usual it just gets better and better.....my favourite meal as always is House Of Blues and it didnt dissapoint again!
The People - Some of the people we have met on the holiday, I will never forget...You will find out more when i write my report but we have seen some of the best characters in life you will ever see that have had me in stitches, to the point where i actually thought i was on a hidden camera show one taxi ride!
The Not So Good......
Virgin Atlantic - I was very very very dissapointed with the whole Virgin experience, everything from the state of the planes to the food I just felt was of a very poor standard considering what we had paid, but my main gripe was the fact that on the outward journey they came round with 2 drinks in 9 hours.......one early on and then a water or juice when they brought a sandwhich near the end of the flight....
The Weather - Now i know what you guys are going to say....Its february! But it was bloomin cold! I have never been to florida and seen people walkin round in hat and gloves, it was frrrrreezzzin some days....
Walt Disney World - Now my two major gripes with WDW Are:-
1) How busy it was, ive never seen it that busy, 140 min wait for Toy Story and 120 for Rock N Rolla coasta, but as we found out it was mardi gras weekend and school holidays...so thats probably why....
BUT my major thing with WDW was I feel it needs updating! I love the place to bits, and I thoroughly enjoyed it, but I just feel that some of the parks need abit of a modernisation, we especially noticed this at Hollywood Studios theme park wise, but the area we felt abit let down by this time was downtown disney.
It really is a great place, but if you compare it to City Walk, it seems to have fallen behind, Pleasure Island & Westside just seem to be a walkthrough to Cirque De Soleil and The Market Place, they really do need to do something with Pleasure Island, because City Walk is just so much more appealing!
AND the worst thing....was the first Sundays hangover, ive never experienced this at Disney before and hopefully I never will again, ive learnt my lesson but I got carried away in a bar with some Americans...Not the start I was expecting!
BUT Thats my only gripes, Ive had an amazing time as always, and done alot of things that I havent done before in Disney, had plenty of beers and laughs...and I am looking forward to the prospect of writing a good report for you guys over the next week or so!
Cheers!

Sounts like you had a great trip Jordan, sorry to hear about the bad points.
I must admit, we've never had a problem with Virgin, what a shame that the service was so poor. :(

I have read this a lot about Virgin. We have not been to WDW for 3 years so have got used to easyjet and ryanair going to Spain. so hopefully we won't notice how bad they are when we fly with virgin in July!!!!!!
glad to hear you had a great time and looking forward to all the photos

The First Day......
I was on the 13:30 flight with Virgin, So it wasnt that early of a start for me. Excited I got up around 8am and with help of my parents set off the hour drive to Manchester in time for checking. After saying goodbye to the folks, I checked in and was happy to find out I had a window seat....Which became a bad thing later on!
After a stroll around Manchester Airport and an early morning budweiser, I headed for boarding. The flight itself seemed to last a while, but there wasnt that much happening. Unfortunatley for me, I was sat next to the window, next to a young couple that slept for the whole journey....and the one time I did nudge one of them to get up to go to the toilet, they didnt take too kindly to it!!! Typical for me to get next to the couple that never wake!
As ive mentioned I was quite dissapointed with the standard of virgin planes, the food was ok, although the coronation sandwhich didnt seem to go down too well with alot of people, I didnt mind it though. But too only get two small drinks in 9 hours.....I found that quite bad.
After we had landed, I passed through customs without a problem and luggage claim was a breeze. I then had to wait about 10 minutes for my shuttle to pick me up, but before I knew it I was in the COLD of Orlando and at my hotel!
I unpacked one or two shirts, but as I was moving hotels on the Monday I didnt really see much point in unpacking everything. I have to admit, i was VERY impressed with the room I Had at Comfort Inn, id heard some bad stories about it, but the room I had was excellent. The hotel was what It was, it wasnt spectacular, but it was nice enough.
I decided I would get some food, then have an early night, even though Sunday was gonna be a chilling day. I then had a walk down to the area of bars/restuarants on Palm Parkway and tried to get a table at the Crab House, but it was a long wait, so I decided to stroll across the road to Hooters, a favourite watering hole of mine!
While in Hooters, the only table I could get was at the bar. I had abit of food and watched some of the NBA All Star Weekend, while having some good banter with some locals....before I know it and many Jack Daniels & Sam Adams Later I crawled into my bed and ended a long first day.....

Day Two.......
Well...Day Two didnt get off to the best of starts, unfortunately my few drinks with the Americans the night before left with feeling slightly tender in the morning first thing, Sooo i decided to have a walk down to I Hop for abit of breakfast to perk me up abit. A stack of chocolate chip pancakes later, I was refreshed and ready for the day.
After I had been to I Hop, I took a walk back to the hotel to decide what to do with my day, as I only had a 5 day disney pass I didnt really want to waste it before I met up with my brother, so I decided to have a wonder around the Premium Outlets, so reception rang me a taxi, so I waited for 20 minutes and nothing turned up, so I decided to start walking....what a mistake this was in flip flops! Eventually I got to the crossroads and flagged a taxi down!
I had a good afternoon at Premium Outlets bought a few bits from Ralph Lauren, Nike & Tommy Hilfiger and headed back to the hotel with another HUGE taxi fare for a 1 mile journey, but its my own fault for not hiring a car. After dropping my stuff back at the hotel I went down too catch a couple of hours worth of sun and met some interesting people down by the pool!
At around 8pm I decided to walk down to House Of Blues, as the food is always good and thought it was a great way to spend valentines day, but when I got there it was shut for a private function! So I ended up at Planet Hollywood, eating at the bar, where I met a very funny Scouse couple who invited me to join them for dinner with them, but i thought i would leave them to it on there own! After a lovely pulled pork sandwich, I decided to start to wonder down to the hotel via downtown Disney and call it a night!

DAY 3 - Where It Starts To Get Interesting!
Well I woke up on Day three with a very busy day ahead of me and still no theme park in site!!! I went down to the hotel restuarant and had some breakfast as it was free, I only had a bowl of cereal and some toast, but I thought it would fuel me until dinner....Boy was I wrong!!!
I went back to the room and although I didnt have to be out till 11, the maid banged on my door every ten minutes until about half nine, so I grabbed my case, did a double check and then checked out the hotel. I then decided to walk from the Comfort Inn to the Royal Plaza, which in hindsite sounded easy, but carrying a case and a bag......Wasnt as enjoyable as I thought, but it was still a decent morning!
I got to the Plaza and went to check in, but seein as the room was booked in my brothers name, they wouldnt let me, so I left my case with the bag boys and went off to Downtown Disney as I wasnt meeting my brother till 2!
http://i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab215/edgehead_photos/SDC10831.jpg
While at Downtown Disney, my hunger really started to get the better of me, so i headed to Earl Of Sandwhich for my faaaaaaav sandwhich ever, the Hawaiian BBQ...Which was an absolute delight to took into!!! All fed and fuelded up, I had a walk down to Sosas Cigars to pick a few up for various family members and myself and then made my way back to the Royal Plaza, where my brother was sat there waiting for me!
http://i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab215/edgehead_photos/P1040720.jpg
We got checked in and unloaded are cases in quite a rush as we were going to the TNA wrestling at Universal Studios, and needed to be there for 4:30! Forutnatley we had a taxi booked, so we got to the lobby and he was there waiting for us...Which provided the funniest moment in recent memory for me....
We had not long left the hotel, when the taxi driver, who looked like Bob Marley....cranked the reggae music up and started singing along to Bob marleys 'easy skanking', which doesnt sound that funny, but I got a fit of the giggles and had uncontrollable laughter! Too add to the singing, which the song includes lines like 'take it easy...light it up and smoke a spliff'..he did his own sound effects for musical instruments, it was that funny I thought it was a set up and found myself lookin for hidden cameras in this taxi!
So with that out the way and tears streaming down my face as we walked through city walk, we got ready to watching the wrestling. Non of us are major fans of it, but we thought it would be fun to do for free. So we had VIP tickets, and waited in what was becoming a cold day for a good hour or so and then got let in to the soundstage.
We had an absolute ball at the wrestling, and especially if you have kids would recomened going to watch it, although be warned the tapings do go on for quite a while, but are really good fun and easy to get into even if you dont know any of the characters!
After the TNA had finished, we headed to the Nascar Bar & Grill where I had another Pulled Pork Sandwhich and a beer, before reading myself for some more Bob Marley and trumpet noises on the way home....only to find it was a different taxi driver....Imagine my dissapointment!!! Then it was off to bed to get some sleep before our first park day!

Day Four - Tuesday - First Disney Park.....
We woke up about 8am today and decided against going out for breakfast, as we were both feeling quite lazy after being on our feet all the previous night. So we headed down to the hotel restaurant/shop area and picked up a crossant each and decided we would catch an early breakfast at the Hollywood Studios, so we got our passes, cameras and wallets and headed to MGM....
Once we got off the bus, we realised that we were right to both pick up jackets as although the sun was out it was bloooody freeezin! This was something new for me in Orlando. Once we got into the park and had a couple of photo pass pics, the first thing we noticed was how busy it was! In all my visit we had never seen it like this....and we couldnt believe the amount of new orleans saints shirts we saw, later finding out it was Mardi Gras so all the NO residents like to get away!
http://i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab215/edgehead_photos/26588_329596603189_725253189_351260.jpg
We headed towards Rock N Roll to get a fast pass, but by 10:30am....they had all gone!! Seeing a 110 minute line, we decided to head to the Great Movie Ride....which we walked straight onto...you can always trust you will get strraight onto that! We then headed towards American Idol, which turned out to be a very enjoyable show with three really good singers in the show!
http://i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab215/edgehead_photos/26588_329596348189_725253189_351258.jpg
After we had finished, we decided that the park was just too busy to stay in any longer, so we got on the bus and headed towards EPCOT, which was busy, but not as busy as HS.
The first thing we did was get some lunch, we both settled for a burger/fries and then had a walk round innoventions to walk our food off. We finnnally got to do a thrill ride when we headed towards Test Track, we both decided instead of waitinf an hour, that we would ride single rider, 20 minutes later we were on the ride and it was as enjoyable as always!
http://i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab215/edgehead_photos/26588_329596203189_725253189_351256.jpg
After that , we decided to have a wonder round the World Showcase. In all the years ive been to Disney ive only ever wondered round the Showcase once, so I said before hand that I would do it. We stopped in the Rose & Crownd for a nice Cold pint of Stella, the price wasnt cheap, but it was worth it, the staff in there were great aswell.
We spent the next few hours going through every country and even got carried away trying hats on in every country we went into, although as you can see from the pic, the hats turned into full outfits in China!!!
http://i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab215/edgehead_photos/26588_329596323189_725253189_351258.jpg
Once we had finished this we did Spaceship Earth and then decided to head for the bus home as tiredness had started to kick in abit. When we got back to the hotel, I decided to go for a work out in the hotel gym and follow it up with 20 mins in the hot tub, that despite the cold was very enjoyable!
We then had a walk down to the crossroads to pick a few bits up from Goodings as we were too tired to go out and have a meal, so we ended up watching abit of tele and having a very early night......

Day Five At The Animal Kingdom....
I was the early bird on Wednesday, I woke up about 7 ish and decided to go for a run....3 miles and a shower later.....I was ready for a day at the Animal Kingdom!!! We got the bus from outside the hotel down to AK and were quite pleased when we noticed that not alot of people were getting the bus there, so we were hoping it wouldnt be that busy......
When we got to AK we headed straight for our favourite ride at the park, Everest! The que for the ride was 50 mins, so it wasnt too bad and we noticed the park wasnt as busy as Hollywood or Epcot the previous day!! Bonus!!
After queing Single rider for Everest we were both on the ride in about 20 minutes and as always screamed at the site of the yetti....now i may be a 23 year old lad, but theres something about going backwards in the dark that makes me scream like a Spice Girls fan!
http://i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab215/edgehead_photos/SDC10906.jpg
Once off Everest we headed towards Dinosour to sort some fast passes out, which gave us an hour and a half to spare, so we headed for ANNNNOTHER burger and fries, I felt like i was starting to turn into one. This time we were entertained by the campest cast member I have ever seen, who danced around while clearing tables, that was at the food place near dinosour, was a real unbelievable site!
After abit of food and watching the band that play near dinosour on the drums and doing abit of rapping, who were also very entertaining, we headed towards dinosour.....
http://i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab215/edgehead_photos/26588_329596398189_725253189_351258.jpg
Now Im not the biggest fan of dinosour in the world...but this time it was brilliant...half way round the ride stopped just as we were in the pitch black bit between scenes!! This may not sound like fun, but when you are in a car with your brother and a family of 6 who can only be described as 'off there head'...it certainly was! The family in with us all burst into song , so we joined in, never met them, sat singing with 6 random strangers in the dark while surrounded by dinosours....only at disney would this be normal!
After we had done this, we headed and got fast passes for The Safari and actually considered the River Rapids for about two minutes, but we realised it was absolutley freezing! We then headed for Everest to see what the line was like....single rider was about 10 minutes, so we rode everest again...bring on more screaming!!!!
http://i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab215/edgehead_photos/SDC10891.jpg
It was time for the Safari, and as always, it was good fun, this time I tried to figure out which of the animals were real...and i got way too close to a rhino for my liking, it was inches away from the car....ive riden that ride 6 or 7 times in the past and never had any animal as close as this! I just cant believe dinsey keep letting them poachers in, its every year I go, you would think theyd up security!
http://i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab215/edgehead_photos/26588_329596388189_725253189_351258.jpg
Well that was us for AK for this year and after a wonder round the gift shop and a few photo oppertunities we headed towards the bus, which luckily enough was waiting for us, so we got home pretty quick! We had an hour or so sleep, and my brother was feeling not too good, so he decided to stay in for the night, so i had to entertain myself! (last time i did this i ended up with a hangover!)
I went down to House Of Blues and they really looked after me in there, I enjoyed a Pulled Pork again, the food in there is always so good, I really would recomend it to anyone who likes southern food! After eating I headed home and had a beer in the bar with a guy I had been chatting to in the gym the previous night and headed off to my bed for some sleep before my fav day of any orlando holiday...Universal!!

Day 6 Universal Studios/Islands Of Adventure
it was a really early start on Thursday as Universal is always my favourite day of the Orlando holiday, I think this has happened as ive got older. We were awake for about 7:30 ish and I was absolutley buzzing!
We got down to reception and realised that we didnt really want to spend $50 on return taxis to US, so having still got the bus timetable from Comfort Inn saw there was a bus there from 9:30....so we absolutley legged it down there in about 10 mins and just got on the bus....I have never been on a more crowded bus in my entire life!!!
http://i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab215/edgehead_photos/P1040453.jpg
After getting off the bus, we had a rock/paper/scissors moment, as I wanted to go in IOA and ride the Hulk first and my brother wanted to do RRR first....I lost! :sad2: But oh well it wasnt such a bad thing. We got into the park fairly quickly and headed straight for RRR. I have seen it being constructed in March....but this time all finished and zooming round...WOW i was impressed, but a tiny bit nervous!!! After about 30 minutes of quieing, we got to the top of the stairs only FOR THE RIDE TO SHUT DOWN!!!!! We couldnt believe it!
http://i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab215/edgehead_photos/P1040662.jpg
We were faced with the decision stay and maybe ride or head off and re que later....Alot of people went...we stayed....5 minutes later....WE WERE ON THE RIDE! To say my stomach was lookin forward to this would be a lie! I decided to pick Donna Summer - I Will Survive....I had to try and convince myself I would...and we were off! Plenty of screams, singing and watery eyes later and I had a new favourite ride!!! :scared1: I got off the ride and just stood there in shock at how good the RRR was!!!!
http://i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab215/edgehead_photos/26588_330028763189_725253189_351347.jpg
After RRR we headed towards the Simpsons and walked straight on it within 10 mins....I did this in March and sat at the front and loved it....this time I was sat on the back row...and didnt enjoy it anywhere near as much....later on I rode it on the front and realised it really is a front row ride!
After Simpsons, we headed towards MIB and had another one of our Orlando Holiday experiences! With the music being abit lively round there, the video camera came out and a few dance moves came out, just being silly....only for 4 Americans, in there mid 50s id say, to join in the dancing with us! It was surreal and glad we captured it on video....another family we never saw again!
The next ride was onto MIB Single rider(which had also broke down), we decided to head for the Mummy.....Single Rider Again! 5 Minutes! :thumbsup2 After riding the Mummy, which is also an absolutely class ride, we decided to head to Mels Drive Inn for ANOTHHHHHHER Burger!!! I Swear, if i ever see another Burger In my life I could scream!
http://i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab215/edgehead_photos/26588_330028658189_725253189_351346.jpg
We then finished up Universal with a ride on Nickelodeon which was another 5 minute line and then decided to head over to Islands Of Adventure!!! After A great Morning we were both in great spirits and in the sillyest mood we could be in!
http://i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab215/edgehead_photos/26588_330028748189_725253189_351346.jpg
THE HULK was the first thing we saw! Ive been on this numerous times and it always excites me when I see it and hear that noise and this time was no different, to my suprise it was a 10 minute line....so we went on it three times! I can never get over the start of this ride, that original shock of the speed at the start is just amazing!
http://i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab215/edgehead_photos/26588_330028683189_725253189_351346.jpg
The Afternoon continued by working our way round the park taking in Spiderman on the way round and continuing munching on Churros! It didnt help that they were on 2 for 1! We then made it to Ripsaw Falls And the rapids....and decided to give them a miss! It was absolutley freezing and we thought we would never dry if we went on them, not to our suprise most carriages going round were empty! We got to Jurrasic Park....only to find the ride had shut down for a few days!! We were not happy!!!
But being keen enthusiasts of the parks, we were both looking forward to seeing Harry Potter land and what we saw looks incredible, alot of money has been put in and the detail looks amazing......the same cant be said about when we got to Deuling Dragons....70 minute line! We could not believe this! The parks were really quiet, but this ride had a very long line, so we left it! :confused3
There wasnt much left for us to do in IOA, so we decided to head back to Universal as we had an hour or so left....hmmmm what could we do with one hour left in Universal....Maybe start as we finish! Another ride on RRR!!!! This time I went for Black Eyed Peas - Pump It and this time we were on the front row! How Incredible!!!! I would recommend to anyone going on this, go on the front row!!! Deffinatley the best ride in Orlando!
http://i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab215/edgehead_photos/26588_330028618189_725253189_351345.jpg
That was it....Universal was closing and it was time for us to head home! We decided to get the bus to Comfort Inn for free again, with a twenty minute wait, we got chatting to two lovely young american ladies from Kansas! If only English girls were this nice! Haha! After getting off the bus, we had a walk up to Hooters on the way home to get some food and after some quick Bar food we continued to walk back to the hotel and got tooked up in bed for about 10 ish....we were both absolutley shattered!!!
But what a great day, I went to sleep with Rip Ride Rockit fresh in my mind and ready for a non theme park day on Friday...but going to watch Orlando Magic!:woohoo:

Day Seven....Major Chill...Major Shop...Major Magic!
Thankfully we had decided against setting any alarms on the Friday, I was really ready for a good sleep after the previous days antics.....but I still woke up at 8am!! :confused3 Looking across I could see my brother still spark out, So i decided to head down to the gym and have a really good session in there, which I found rather enjoyable!
By the time id done, my brother was awake and we decided to head down to Florida Mall at about half ten, via the games room to get a few games on the basketball shoot out ready for tonight, And then spend a few of them dollars we had worked so hard to save! So we enquired about a taxi and when quoted $25 we decided to have a look at the Lynx bus timetable we had printed off and fortunately there was a stop right outside our hotel and a bus in 20 minutes! Bingo!
I was a little bit dissappointed with the Lynx bus....not because of the service or the cost, which were both brilliant dropped straight outside the Mall within 30 minutes....But the reason I was dissapointed is because Id heard alot of random stories about the people who get these buses....we got on...it was empty!!!! I was slightly dissappointed!!!
http://i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab215/edgehead_photos/26588_329565038189_725253189_351253.jpg
We got to the Mall and decided to get some food, I ended up at the Chinese place having Orange chicken, Bourbon Chicken and Noodles.....where as my brother decided just to keep walking round and getting free samples!!!! He said he wasnt that hungry, but it was like watching lewis Hamilton doing laps of the food court!
So all fueled up we did abit of shopping picking up hoodies, trainers, t shirts the normal. We were quite dissappointed that the CD/DVD shop was in its final days of shutting down, as we both had a few DVDs we wanted to pick up, but couldnt get  And I didnt buy anything in Abercrombie, which is a first for me, normally spend fortunes in there, but I wasnt impressed!
http://i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab215/edgehead_photos/26588_329596463189_725253189_351259.jpg
After we had all done it was abou two ish, this time we had no girlfriends with us, so we managed to get the shopping done in quite good time, we jumped back on the Lynx bus 111 to our hotel, $2 and half an hour we were home...or to the hotel, it does become home doesnt it!
By now it was 3pm and I had a couple of hours to kill and my brother had gone to Epcot as he wasnt going to the Orlando Magic game, but as I sat there flicking through the tele....i had a pleasant supirse.....THE SUN HAD COME OUT!!!!:dance3: You have never seen a human being put there swim shorts on and get down 9 floors to a sun lounger as quick as I did!!!!
I lay in the sun for 2 hours or so, in and out of a snooze, no kids by the pool, no noise by the pool, just a date.....me and the sun! It was heaven! But soon enough, the date came to an end and I wondered if id ever see her again! I got changed in good time as Florida Dolphin Tours was picking me up outside the hotel at half five, so I was ready!
http://i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab215/edgehead_photos/26588_329564878189_725253189_351251.jpg
Within two minutes of me bieng downstairs this 16 seater bus pulled up and out hopped Charles, a mid 20s chubby hispanic lad who was rather enthusiastic!! On the bus there were two british couples and there kids and we had another three pick ups, we had some absolutley brilliant banter on the drive to the Amway Arena mainly about The English driving system, but it was all good fun and finalllly we were parked up smack bang outside the Amyway Arena....I had pre match nerves!
To desribe what goes on outside an NBA Arena is strange as there is so much! It was a regular season game, but it was like an English Cup final! There was so much going on outside, create a sign, the EPSN Camper van, Basketball free-throws, Playstations, Guys on stilts...it was almost carnival like...and it was like this every game!!!! I was just really amazed and the hour I had outside really flew by!
I made my way inside the stadium after a thorough security check and was greated with a free match day programme by the lady on the door and straight away the guy infront of me is shouting 'BEEEEER, GET YOUR BEEER HERE'.....I found like id found my home!!! :lmao: After a relatively priced beer, think it was about $6 I made my way to my seat which was a great view just as the national anthem was being sung!! This is an event in itself, they had a guy hitting all the notes and lots of whoooping from the crowd!
The game started and I found msyelf getting really into it, I was up out my seat everytime the magic hit a 3 pointer or dunk and this was only 4 or 5 mins in....then a time out was called!!!! Time out is about 2 minutes long and its the most incredible two minutes you will see in your life at sport!
http://i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab215/edgehead_photos/26588_329564908189_725253189_351251.jpg
In the 8 time outs we had I saw :- Crowd Volleyball, A floating Cow on a milk bottle, 10 Cheerleaders dunking, A lot of kids dancing on the big screen, two large americans break dancing in the isles on the big screen, 2 Harlem Globetrotters having a dunk off and a giant dinosour waving a flag ontop of a 25ft ladder......I was really confused!! As a child id had time outs and was sent to my room.....these time outs looked far more fun!!!!

http://i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab215/edgehead_photos/26588_329564953189_725253189_351252.jpg
We got to the second half and id pollished off a hot dog and a thing of nachos, the food there is so vast, its hard to explain! Add to that another couple of beers, I turned into Orlando Magics most vocal fan! I even managed to get my picture took with two of the Magic Cheerleaders! :cheer2:
http://i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab215/edgehead_photos/26588_329565003189_725253189_351252.jpg
The game finished and the Magic had lost but id really enjoyed the experience, we got back to the bus and I was back to my hotel within 45 minutes still really taken back by what I had witnessed, I was worried that going to an Arsenal game at home would be a let down when I came home now! But after that I got myself all took up in bed....as we were attacking the Magic Kingdom tommorow!

Yeah course, you have two options you can either e-mail tnaaudience@Hotmail.com and mention the dates your going and they will send you a VIP e-mail, then you line up near the blue man group OR the other option is to just turn up, although a lot of people who did this didnt get in. I really would recomend e-mailing.
Another option is if you have tickets for the park, you can get entrance that way just visit the audeince booth at the front of the park.
I would really recomend going to it, although i do warn, it does go on for a LOOOOONG time! But there are seats, restrooms and food available.

Got to say I agree completely that areas of the parks need updating.
Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom in particular needs a major refresh, the rides are limited and the restaurant areas poor.
It isn't 'Tomorrowland' anymore.

Really enjoying reading your report. You seem to have a great sense of humour - and your comment about the time outs made me laugh.
We saw TNA when we went once - we were leaving the park and were directed towards the stage by a CM with a big arrow. DS is a big wrestling fan so we couldn't really say no. We only stayed for half hour or so though.
I disagree with you about HRRR though. Me and DD(11) had waited all year - since seeing it being built Feb 09 - and were very dissappointed. Considering the technologies available these days it was far to bumpy and jerky for us. Manta though - that is a different story entirely :)
Looking forward to your next update.

I agree it is quite bumpy, but I was just amazed by it, I think alot of rides are to taste, a freind of mine wasnt impressed by Spiderman when he went last year! :confused3

Saturday - Magic Kingdom Day!
It was a case of the same old on Saturday, we had agreed on a lie in and head out for breakfast.....we ended up both being awake for 8am!!!! :confused3 BUT two minutes later, boy were we glad we woke up when we did, as we turned the television on only to see it was showing Everton V Manchester United Live!!!! So we decided to get some breakfast in the hotel bar and watch the match.....Im sure the people in the room next to us were delighted at this as when Everton scored there third I was up dancing round the room!
By the time the football had done, it was around 10am so we got the park times and decided that we would head to Magic Kingdom at around 4pm! But what would we do with the rest of the day!?? Well we first had a walk down to Downtown Disney as we had been given a list of things to pick up and we thought if we got it done early, then it was out the way! ( I swear family members back home think credit cards have an endless limit! ) :sad2:
Thousands of Xmas decorations later ( And a sneaky earl of sandwhich ) we headed back to the hotel, very pleased that the sun was out! We dumped all our stuff in the room, got the old speedos on and headed down to the pool for a few hours! During this time we managed to sneak a few Coronas in, while trying to decide what to do with our final few days!!
http://i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab215/edgehead_photos/SDC10958.jpg
We then headed back up to the room and got ready to head down to Magic Kingdom, and thankfully our bus was there waiting as soon as we got downstairs! 10 Minutes later on the bus and a short monorail ride later, which had a family discussing how somoene had died on the monorail after a crash in the previous year, talk about making you feel comfortable!!!
http://i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab215/edgehead_photos/26588_329596428189_725253189_351259.jpg
Finally we got inside the Magic Kingdom and I got that feeling I always get when I walk into Magic Kingdom! Its a strange feeling to describe, but its like a sensation that you dont get anywhere else, Ive always had it from the first time I went when I was 7 to now!!!! <--- That bit is for the ladies on here! haha
And straight to Tommorland to get on Space Mountain it was, BUT on the way, we decided to get a few Photo Pass pics.....only for the lad in the young couple infront of us to get down on his knee and propose to his girlfriend and thankfully she said yes! We couldnt believe the crowd that this attracted and we couldnt believe the guy had the bottle to do it! What some guys do for love hey!
Finnnnnally we got to the Space Mountain line, but it was 90 mins long, so we got fast passes for later on and headed to do Monsters Inc Comedy Show, The Tommoro Land Tour ride & Buzz Lightyears Alien Shooting thing, both are fairy enjoyable for what they are and Buzz Light year always raises abit of family competition!
http://i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab215/edgehead_photos/26588_329596448189_725253189_351259.jpg
Once we had done in Tommorland it was around 6:30-7ish and we were both feeling abit peckish, so headed to Frontierland and both tooked into a Pulled Pork Sandwhich and discussed what rides we needed to do.
As we went round the park and got various rides in we were quite dissapointed that Splash Mountain was out of order, it was quite strange to see it with no water in it, but we both couldnt help think that the park needed abit of updating, I dont know if its because weve been there alot, but it just felt abit lacking compared to some of the other parks we had been to.
http://i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab215/edgehead_photos/SDC10994.jpg
http://i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab215/edgehead_photos/SDC11000.jpg
We got ready to watch the Parade, now il be honest, im something of a Disney Veteran, but I have never watched Spectro Magic! Alot of you will find this hard to believe, but ive always used the time this is on to go on the busy rides! But I have to admit, I was impressed, some of the lighting in the parade is incredible, but I do find it abit strange still that thousands of people stand round to watch a couple of squirells playing a piano and the rest, but it was deffinatley worth watching!
Once Spectro Magic had done, we needed to do four things the first was Space Mountain, which we walked straight onto with our fast passes, the new updates to it were noticeable, but the ride itself does feel a little dated, its still a good ride, but compared to some of the other rides its got abit lost in translation!
http://i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab215/edgehead_photos/SDC10983.jpg
We then headed to do the Tommorowland Race Track, again this sort of falls under the same as Space Mountain to me, it seems to be a ride thats got stuck in the 80s! But its still nice to do and I think for teenagers/kids it is a good ride! Finnnnnnally we then got to the two rides that we both were looking forward to doing in the dark......The Jungle Cruise and BIG Thunder Mountain! :scared1:
In The Dark You Ask?! If you havent experienced these rides in the dark, you need too! Thunder Mountain is a good ride, we enjoy it, but put it in the dark and it just seems miles better! The que for this ride was about 30 minutes which wasnt too bad, although when we got off we thought there was a picture you could buy????
Then we decided to finish with our favourite 'No thrill' ride, the Jungle Cruise! Now weve heard the script for this before, but the puns on the commentry always make us both laugh, I think its the stupidity of the ride and the enthusiasm of the 'tour guide'! :rotfl2:
Once we had finished with the rides, we decided to call it a night, it was about 11pm and we were both ready to and after a quick bus journey home we got to the room....Only to decide to head out to the jacuzzi and get a couple of beers in to end the day! Time for some ZZZZZZs!

Day Nine - Holllllywood Take Two
For the first time in the holiday we actually set an alarm on Sunday for 7am......after numerous touches of the snooze button it was around 7:45 when we both actually woke up!!! I decided to get my running gear on and head out for a jog. It still suprises me how many people you see out and about jogging while at Disney!
I got back for about half past eight and we got ready to head off out and in the words of Randy Jackson.....we were 'GOIN TO HOLLYWOOD BABY'.....Ok...I Admit it...Ive been to the American Idol Experience one too many times! :goodvibes
Once id gotten ready we jumped on the bus and before we knew it we were in Hollywood Studios.....again! But the good thing was this time it didnt seem so busy! We straight away headed to Rock N Roller Coaster to see what the wait time was....25 mins...BONUS! Before we knew it we were sat in the Limo organised by Steven Tyler for us and we were shooting off at 60MPH! Being a regular to Disney, we have developed a knowledge for where the cameras are on each ride and stupid faces came out! Deffinatley not one for my nans fireplace!
http://i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab215/edgehead_photos/26133_336246873189_725253189_353122.jpg
After RnR we headed for Tower Of Terror, a ride to me that has gotten taimer over the years, but to my brother who hates drops, its gotten worse! This is where I had my fun! 'I think i read theyve added a longer drop' and 'They leave you lookin out over the park for ages now'.....15 minutes and one slightly pale brother later we were off the ride, ready to head towards Indiana Jones, a show that I had never been too before, but was my brothers favourite show!
http://i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab215/edgehead_photos/26588_329596528189_725253189_351260.jpg
On the way In, I spotted the oppertunity to grab myself a Bud Lite and a Churo, before heading in! popcorn:: So we walked into the show and sat on the far left where there werent many people sat so far, I started flicking through some of the pics we had on the camera, while all the pre show was going on, I wasnt that interested in seeing Dads getting the mickey took out of them....Oh boy I wish I had!!!
http://i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab215/edgehead_photos/26588_329596553189_725253189_351260.jpg
'Jord, just stand up a sec pal, your stood on the bag'........the next thing I hear over the PA system 'Yes you sir in the orange and white vest!'...Pulling the beer away from my mouth and hearing people in my section goin 'Go On buddy Have fun!'.....I had been chosen....AND Set up by my own flesh and blood!!! I went down to the front, to face 100s of people and had to do some mad kung fu motion and noise.....not my finest moment I will admit! While having flashbacks to the 1992 Primary School production of the Christmas Story where I messed up my one line as an Inn Keeper!
http://i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab215/edgehead_photos/26588_329596533189_725253189_351260.jpg
If im being honest, it was quite abit of fun, I ended up dressed as a Morocan market stall owner with a few others and had to do abit of acting, but kept catching my brother with the camcorder on laughing his pants off!!!:rotfl2: 1-0 to him!
After we had done our bit, I headed back to the seats to watch the final stunt in the show and boy was I glad I bought that beer before hand!! What still made me laugh was through out the day I had a few people come up to me and say 'your the kung fu guy!'....Disney World is a very strange place at times! haha.
While getting over that ordeal, we headed towards the Muppets 3D :3dglasses And did American Idol Experience one more time, both of these are really great attractions and I always recomend them. Muppets is a rare attraction that has managed to stay fresh after so many years!
http://i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab215/edgehead_photos/26133_336246903189_725253189_353122.jpg
We headed back towards Rock N Roller Coaster, 10 minute line, we did that again a few times before deciding to head off at about 4:30pm, just as the rain started to absolutley hammer it down! We timed it really well!
It didnt take us long to get back to the hotel and couldnt believe the weather, so we went out into the pool and the jacuzzi for an hour or so, again I couldnt believe how many other people did this, but it really is relaxing.
We got ourselves ready and headed out towards Planet Hollywood where we had reservations. PH is one of them restaurants that I always love visiting, i think the food and the service is one of the best on Disney and the atmopshere is fantasitc. We sat down at our table and I decided I wanted a change of food, so ordered a chicken ceser salad...expecting a reletively small dish, more of a filler....WRONG! I Got more lettuce than Bambi could eat in a year and a chicken breast that coulda served a family of four! But all in all it was excellent food! As we had a couple of beers in there we had another funny moment!
http://i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab215/edgehead_photos/n725253189_1638344_4722965-1.jpg
The waitress for our table, who gave us a great service, must have came up to us maybe 6 or 7 times telling us she loved our accents!!! But she said it so many times that we started to wonder if she had forgot she kept telling us, which was making us laugh! But she was a nice girl and meant no harm!
After the meal, my brother decided to head to the cinema to watch a film and I was ready to have a stroll back to the hotel, as the rain had died down abit and have a couple of nightcaps in the hotel bar before calling it a night...Another very enjoyable day!

Day 10! - THE DAY BEFORE THE FINAL DAY!
Monday morning was an early morning wake up, around 7 ish....there was that thing at the back of our mind that we had to go home tommoro, but being the experienced pros we are, we decided to get the cases packed early and forget we were heading home! Booooo :sad2:
http://i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab215/edgehead_photos/SDC10834.jpg
SO we decided we wanted to visit all the parks and do all the thrill rides! We set ourselves a final day challenge to ride :- Everest, Thunder Mountain, Space Mountain, Rock N Roll, Tower Of Terror & Test Track......Oh and a trip to the Premium Outlets....Could we do all this in one day.....READ ON!....
We got on the bus first to Epcot and wondered just how busy it would be in the Parks and too our relief....Epcot was dead! We headed straight over to Test Track and managed to get on it within about 10 minutes! Good Times! :yay:
After Test Track we headed for Sorin', expecting a less than 20 minute line....but NO IT WAS STILL AN HOUR!!!! This and Toy Story just have lines that make no sense to us! But we ignored Sorin' and headed for the Park exit, stopping for a few pics on the way out!
We jumped straight on the bus to Hollllllllllywood!!!! The first stop was Rock N Roller Coaster, 10 minute line! This day had started so well and was getting better and better and better! We were becoming regulars in Steven Tylers limo by this stage of the holiday and we were still loving it. We got to talking about what the ride looked like in the light, but have since sturggled finding pictures of it on the net since we got back. :confused3
After taking in Tower Of Terror and having to have a sit down for 10 mins while my brother go his colour back, we had a final walk around Hollywood, walking past Indiana Jones was like walking past the scene of a crime, I broke out into nervousness!
http://i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab215/edgehead_photos/n725253189_1634771_8181590.jpg
The weather at this rate wasnt looking too healthy, it was a huge dark cloud over our heads and we were expecting rain any minute.....and just on que....there it was! It didnt hammer it down, but it was abit of spitting that we didnt mind too much.
After finishing up at Hollywood ( Or MGM as we continued to call it ), we got on about 300 different busses to get to Animal Kingdom, we couldnt believe how long this took! But eventually we got there and headed straight for Everest.......And we couldnt believe it....Que....20 Mins, not bad at all and fortunatley we got on the front again!!!
Once coming off Everest it was about 3-4pm and we went and got some light food and have a sit down while watching one of the jungle bands, near the dinosour ride, these guys were absolutley brilliant, although ever since then I get the 'Quack Quack Flap Splash' Song in my head!!! :sad2:
While having a sit down, we decided we would ride the Safari one more time and then call it a day for Disney...we had failed our challenge! But we had spent the whole day rushing round and we still had a busy evening planned out, so we headed for the park exit and took a bus back to the hotel....just as we arrived back at the hotel...IT HAMMERED IT DOWN!!!!
We let the rain settled abit and realised we still had abit of money to spare, so jumped in a taxi down to the Premium Outlets, the guy driving said he would do it for $5 if we could pick his mate up on the way.......we knew straight away this would leed to a memerable situation........and it did...we picked up a Koreon man, who asked us if we knew Park Ji Sung ( Who plays for Manchester United ).....
Sarcasticly I said 'Yeah, hes a good friend of mine' OOOOPS! This Korean chap turns out was Parks number one fan, he had a picture of him in his wallet AND a picture of him on his wallpaper of his phone! In all fairness to me tho, I did tell the gentleman I would pass his regards on to Park! :rotfl2:
After a spot of shopping and nearly bankrupting ourselves in the Ralph Lauren shop, we got a taxi back to the hotel, threw the stuff in the room and headed for our regular final meal at TGI Fridays! Now i know it gets mixed opinions on here, but we love it and always go on the final night.
We sat down and I ordered the Jack Daniels BBQ Rips, which was the biggest plate of food I have ever seen, but still got finished. The highlight of the meal was my brother getting ID'd for a beer with the girl thinking he was 15 or 16! (Hes 27!)
http://i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab215/edgehead_photos/n725253189_1638170_746621.jpg
We then headed back to Epcot to take in the fireworks before calling it a night..HOME TOMMOROW :sad2:

Day 11 - The Final Day
Ahhh it was a 9am get up on Tuesday, thank fully we had done all our packing the day before, so it was really just a case of get up and get checked out, we had to be out for 11, but we wanted to take our cases down to the Virgin check in as soon as possible so we then had a free day to not worry about them!
We got checked out for about 10am and got to the front of the hotel, 'Would you like a taxi sir'....'Nah, were alright mate cheers, we will walk' was my response....NOW if you take one peice of advice from me.....NEVER walk from The Royal Plaza to the Virgin Check in at DTD!

Now, im a relatively fit guy, play football twice a week, eat well, gym 3 nights a week......but dragging a suitcase through the Market place, Pleasure Island and the Westside was not the best idea ive ever had! Three Stops later and we were there, paid our $10 check in fee and got our tickets no problem! <Except now we were both worn out > So we stopped at Giradehllis for a quick ice cream to make us feel better!

We decided to go to the Florida Mall for abit, so jumped on the 111 to the Mall and do abit of shopping! It did pass sometime and I managed to spend abit more money and we both tooked into a Phillie Cheese sandwich before jumping on the next bus to the airport!
It took us about 20 minutes or so to get to the Airport from the Mall and all for $2 each, not bad really considering taxis were quoting $25! During our ride to the airport, we both sorta agreed that we had had a great holiday, but just wanted to get home now, neither of us were fans of sitting around Airports!
We got through security and bag checks ok, although my brother nearly caused a disaster when he took his passport through with him instead of putting it through the scanner!!
Before you knew it, we were both on the plane and guess what.....I GOT STUCK IN THE MIDDLE! :sad2: Now, some of you may like the middle seat in a row of three, but me....No way! Its a seat with no benefits at all....the window seat you get a view as your landing and taking off.....the end seat you get abit more legs room and dont have to disrupt anyone when you need to get up, but the blooomin middle seat is probably the worst invention ever! Haha, rant over!
Finnallly we were back home, the flight did seem to go on for quite a while and we were through and in the taxi by about 8am English time! We had a taxi driver who was far too lively for my liking, i Just wanted to put my i pod on and snooze away for the hour journey, but this guy talked and talked and talked....and talked....and talked! haha.
BUT.....We were home....time for unpacking, washing and reviving lots of good memories. :happytv:

What you planning next?
Im not too sure whats in the pipeline next, a trip to Corfu with the lads is first to get out the way in July, but theres mumblings of a family trip to Orlando in October! Im just in the process of moving jobs, which gives me some more holidays so depending on the cost, I may be able to squeeze a trip in then!

Amazing trip report! Thoroughly enjoyed it! I noticed you travelled with your brother but have posted in the solo threads....... do you know what its like to holiday solo in Orlando? I was thinking of going next year but none of my friends are interested in the financial commitment, whereas I want to go all out! I just thought it might be a bit odd to travel from the UK to holiday there in that environment alone?
Best wishes x

Fantastic trip report, sounds like you had an amazing time. I've really enjoyed reading it.
I went to a basketball game a few years ago in New York. It was the Knicks v San Antonio Spurs. I booked the tickets on a whim that it might be something fun to do and it ended up being the best night of the holiday. Fantastic experience. Plus I can now say I've been to Madison Square Gardens to see the Knicks. That's impressed a few blokes in work :lmao:

Thanks for a great trip report Jordan:thumbsup2.
Its nice to see men enjoy Disney.
I helped my brother(46) his son(25) daughter (16) organise their 1st trip to Orlando in 2010, and they've now caught the bug and planning their 2nd trip in August 2012. This was there first big holiday together ever and they had so much fun they wanted to do it again.
There always telling friends and family that this was the best holiday they have ever taken:grouphug:.

Yeah we do enjoy Disney, it was good being away with my brother. You tend to behave yourself a little more when the rest of the family are there!
