Which surface is everyone's favorite? Are some better for certain photos? (Besides the obvious B&W).

If you have an image with high contrast colors...go with the metallic. You won't be sorry. It's not on sale, but I like to add the luster coating to portraits.

I'm also a fan of the metallic paper for your real colorful photos. Just as a test, I had a sepia toned picture printed on metallic paper and the e-surface paper. There wasn't too much difference though.
