Packing Luggage for Disney (time frame)

How far in advance are you beginning to pack your suitcase????? I love the fact that Costco has swimwear and sunscreen out on display..really putting me in the mood!!! 57 more sleeps :goodvibes

We leave in 45 days and we have already started packing. We have all the kid's clothes packed and most of our clothes pack. The main reason is to make sure that we wouldnt be running around at the last minute finding shorts and swimsuits. My DW ended up buying two new swim suits for herself at Costco last week.
Its always crazy the week before we leave so it nice to get some of the packing done early.. Just one less thing to worry about!

We do not leave until September and I'm already making packing lists!

I'm making lists for packing but nothing in the bags yet....although I do keep a "Disney bin" in my closet - basically it is a Rubbermaid container of items like ponchos, lanyards, backpack and fanny pack.

We are leaving in 65 days :banana: and the suitcase is pretty much packed - we are ready to go!:cool1:

We leave in 2 weeks and 1 day :banana: for Disney's Hilton Head resort and I will probably pack the weekend before we leave. The boys tried on shorts and golf pants/shirts a few weeks ago to make sure they all still fit and I will probably go shopping this weekend to get some things for them to do in the car on the drive!

we leave in 46 days too..Glad i'm not the only one starting to pack..lol

My husband thinks I'm nuts...I am an obsessive organizer.

I have each days clothing on separate hangers (Pant hangers) pair of shorts , top and a baggie clipped to it with that days underwear, socks..etc...!

He laughs at me while I pack..but is always impressed with my quick unpacking...take them outta my suitcase right into the closet.

Each day you just gotta grab a hanger out of the closet and away you go!! No messing around with what matches what! :cheer2:

We started making our lists and the suitcases come out next week.
I also saw the swimwear and sunscreen at Costco and purchased 2 new swimsuits for my youngest and also picked up some sunscreen. We are so excited and can't wait!!

We also keep a Disney bin going in our house. When we return from trips everything that can be reused gets emptied in there. And then when I purchase stuff throughout the year it gets put in the bin as well.
