Hi.
I am thinking of maybe going over the christmas period this year 2010/2011. Can anyone who actually stayed over the christmas period last year please tell us how much they paid, where they stayed etc and if food was avaliable like normal from the hotel resturants.
Any advice is appreciated.:)

What dates are you looking at for Christmas at DLP? Its just that the prices fluctuate wildly around that time, as Christmas season at DLP actually runs from early November right through to early January :) .

I can tell you one thing - if you are staying over the actual Christmas holidays, food vouchers are not valid between something like the 19th Dec till just after Boxing Day. There are Christmas meals bookable for your hotel on Christms Eve (where there is a character show included) BUT you are talking about £100 per PERSON!! Buffalo Bills and Auberge put their prices up too but about 10€ (might be even more) but on Christams Day it seems to me menu'a as normal around the Park. You will definitely need to book your restaurants in advance to guarantee a table, and it will be very busy!
If you choose to go just before Christmas the crowds will be more manageable, and I recommend a stay onsite as it gets very very cold - and nothing like being able to slip back for a warm bath before going down into the hotel bar for a few drinks :thumbsup2

If you download the brochure from here (http://brochure.disneylandparis.co.uk/index.xhtml) it will have last Christmas's prices in it. Alternatively, order the paper version of the New Generation brochure, they're in there too.
We went for Christmas back in 2005. The days you have to be most careful about are Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve as these are the days that the mega expensive meals are laid on. There is also an expensive Christmas meal on Christmas Day too but if you don't want to pay out for this (we didn't either ;) ) you will be able to eat at the usual restaurants at usual prices. We had our Christmas Day lunch at The Lucky Nugget. :santa:
Even on Christmas Eve you will still be able to eat at usual prices at the majority of the restaurants ~ and of course, counter service is still available.
We loved being there over Christmas ~ it was a very magical time. :cloud9:
