I booked a GV at OKW in early December for a co-worker of mine.

On August 1st (the start of her use-year), she will be transferring points to cover that ressie into my account.

How soon will those be available for me to use? Is it immediate, or does it take a day or so?

They are yours to use as soon as the transfer is complete! :)

I recently transferred some points into another member's account.
MS told me that it would take 24 - 48 hours for them to appear in the other account. Therefore, the points would not be available for a ressie until then.
