YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DL has had this for CA residents. About time they brought it here! I just might upgrade at my renewal to the Premium AP! :)
Now if only Universal had a payment plan for their top-notch AP (they only do it for the middle tier)

While this may or may not turn out to be true, it's currently just an internet rumor. So I've moved this thread to the Rumors and News board.

I've been waiting for Disney to allow guests to finance vacation packages and/or tickets for years.

I guess Disney is doing everything they can to turn the parks into "wall-to-wall-can't-possibly-fit-one-more-person-in-here" type of situation. Not much of a vacation when you can't move. {body to body, shoulder to shoulder} It used to be a lot of fun going to Disney.........:sad2::guilty:

If the parks/resorts were busy, they wouldnt have to offer discounts at nearly all times of the year now.

Since the shareholder meeting came and went and there was no announcement on this, can we assume it is DOA and not coming to fruition any time soon?

IMO, the Parks and Resorts are busy BECAUSE of the ridiculous, money losing discount plans. Disney financial is so stupid they can't reconcile playing one side against the other. Disney has become WalMart and will sell it's soul for the current quarter numbers, yet so many here explain it all away by pointing that "Disney is a business. They have to answer to their shareholders". Blah, blah, blah. Therein lies the problem ... and the future.
It's still a decent product (especially DL, which is miles and miles beter than WDW, again IMO). But, Harry Potter opens soon at Universal so Orlando will soon have something to get excited about.
