Have heard that the petrol station at Santa Fe and the shop in the station are cheaper than hotel shops, anyone know how much you save, is it half price, or say 10%off? Also do both of these sell beer/wine/coke/water/crisps etc? Anyone any idea of prices?
thanks
Elaine

the hotel shops didnt really have much of a selection. any sweets they had were really expensive. the shop in the train station was much closer to normal prices rather than disney.

The petrol station is cheaper but it's probably not worth the walk unless you're staying at the Santa Fe.
If snacks are important, it'd be just as quick to go to Auchan. It's only 1 stop on the train and it'll be cheaper than the petrol station.
As already mentioned, there's a shop in the train station that is a similar price to the petrol station.

Hi - I can give you an idea of the prices we paid last week in the shop at the train station, 80c for a large bag of natural:confused: flavour (ready salted) crisps they were 'Casino' brand which was also the name of the shop, 2.60e for a 1.5 litre coke or the smaller 500ml bottle was 1.60, it was also 1.60e for a bag of Haribo, 1.00e for a strawberry yogurt, they also sold orange or blackcurrant squash in pouches for 1.00e - these were good to stick in your bag and take into the park oh and I also brought a pack of 3 Kit Kats for 2.60e - nice but a bit different tasting to the ones here.
Thats all we got from the shop, they did sell sandwiches too but I didn't buy any.

We only bought water form the garage outside sante fe last week, which was €1.30 for 750ml. It was about €1 more at the hotel. They did have big boxes of heiniken at the garage, but did not see how much it cost.

I have brought pringles, beer etc from the train station, much cheaper. Though if staying at the DLH you have to go through bag check and they stopped us with the beer as they thought we were taking it to the park. We ended up being walked to the hotel to make sure that is where we were going.

There are automated machines that function in a variety of languages. If it's not in English when you get to it, just keep pressing the red cancel button and it should take you back to the language select screen.
The station for Auchan is Val D' Europe. When you arrive at Val D' Europe, there are two exits at either end of the platform. Go to the one with escalators (the one most people will be going to!). Exit the station and turn right. You will see the shopping centre in front of you. Auchan is in there, downstairs.

Hello
When we went last year we took one bag full of snacks for lunch, fruit shots (little drinks) crisps, biscuits, rasins, dried fruit, basically raided tescos here then filled a bag. It was a little heavy but saved us money over there and when you go into the parcs they are not strict on food in bags anymore so we didnt even hide it.
As soon as we got to the train stations we got a trolley, we had a pram anyway so used the lifts at either end to access the platforms. Then used disney express to take our bags straight to the rooms so we hardly carried it.
I did see the shop in the station and may buy the bottles of water from there this time (yes i even took 2ltr bottles of water with me!) anything to save money!
