Add ons?

Once Disney has stopped selling a resort, is it then possible to buy an add-on at that resort through them or is the only option a resale contract?

We're thinking of starting off with a smallish contract (160 ish points) at BCV with the possibility of adding on in a few years time, being in the UK our plan is to go twice in every 3 years (2 on 1 off) because of this we'd like to keep all our points in the one resort. In a few years time when we're richer ;) then we'd probably end up wanting the addon (probably another 100 ish) so we could go every year.

Is this realistic?

It is my belief that after the DVC resort is done being sold (rather than sold out), there is still a limited number of points available for add-on, if you already have points there. I say this because I did that exact thing. After VWL was done selling, I added on at VWL through Disney. :cool:

PS- I don't think the left over points would last long!
