View Full Version : My toes don't have enough wrinkles

I went to an internist today for a circulatory problem I have, and he said my toes aren't wrinkley enough. I figure if that's the most abnormal thing about me he can find, I must be okay. :)
He did ask if my toes had always been that way or if they had changed, but I guess I don't pay much attention to my toes. Evidently, the joints in your toes should have wrinkles like the ones in your fingers, but mine don't.

Hmmm. You had me looking at my toes, Kermit. :) :) Does he say that that means something, or was he just making small talk???? :)
LOL!! Yup, mine are wrinkled, just like the rest of me. :p

I think that it was supposed to be a symptom of something that's not very good, but I was too surprised to really ask any questions. I couldn't believe it when he asked if my feet had always looked like that. I know I'm supposed to watch my moles, but I didn't know I was supposed to monitor my feet wrinkles.

Kermit, I hope it won't interfere with your ability to wear a toe ring!:jester:

Made me look too, and my toes aren't as wrinkly as my finger joints, either.

Well, Kermit, you have us all looking at our toes and wondering what could be wrong! :) My toes aren't very wrinkly either. If I look real hard I can see some, but they don't look like my fingers. (Well, they're about as long as my fingers, just not as wrinkly :teeth: )

OK. Picture this Kermit. An old lady bending down lookin at her toes LOL What a sight that must have been.
I don't have a lot of wrinkles in my toes (boy, seems like I used to though)
Keep us updated as to what this means. Anything serious? :(
Do wrinkles in the face count? :p

I don't see any wrinkles on my toes. The only abnormality I see on them is my 2nd toe is longer than my big toes (my mom told me that's a sign of who's the boss in the family;) ).

Hmmm, my toes seem wrinkle free. This need for toe wrinkles seems to be an unusaul observation at best. Does your docter offer any explanation as to why we should have toe wrinkles?

My toes do have wrinkles. I wonder if the dr was concerned about swelling/retaining water possibly? I guess that would make the creases in your toes less visible. who knows? You would think the dr would at least give you a clue as to why this would be a thing to worry about...

He's going to tell me more about my condition in general when he gets my blood work back. He didn't really say what the problem would be. I guess maybe they could get so tight that I couldn't wiggle my toes. That would be a problem. He also said my fingers could do the same thing. I'm thinking that people would start to notice if my finger joints were wrinkle-free.

My toes are wrinkled almost as much as my fingers are. I suppose poohand wendy has a point there...maybe its the fluid retention that they are worried about.

It sounds like I should tell the doctor that he should be concerned about his own feet. :D
