I made my first t-shirts and pillowcases! [Archive] - The DIS Discussion Forums

This is my first try at t-shirts for my DD:

I also attempted pillowcases. A quick story to explain. When we were discussing what my family wanted in our off-site rental house (pool, Wi-fi, washer/dryer, etc) we asked DD (5) what she would like. She requested that the house have a toilet :lmao: and Disney pillows. Since the house comes with a toilet, I wanted to make pillowcases for everyone. I don't know how comfortable they will be to sleep on but at least it will be fun.

Here's want I have so far. I copied ideas I saw on this board. I hope that is OK with the original DISigners.

I'll let you know how they work. I'm a bit concerned about us waking up everyday with an iron-on transfer stuck to our faces. :lmao: I've never used them before so I don't know if they are stiff or sticky.

I wasn't sure if boys liked leopard print.:) I made a zebra one and a tiger one just in case. I made the same for Katie in case you want them to match.

Awesome! Thank you so much. I am putting together "welcome bags" and sneaking in the room before the kids get there. I will put the t-shirts in there. They will LOVE them! Thank you so much!! Now for the big question...how do I get these on the t-shirts??? Do I print them on special paper and then iron them on?

Yes. You have to print them on iron-on transfers. There is a thread here: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=892906 that seems to have all the info you need.

Okay - just when I think I have seen it all and could not possibly need anything else - I find something else, but I love your designs - they are too cute. Could you please make me the tiger print with the following names: Trent, Annalise, Sophie, Rush, Tracy, Carol, and Ethan. If I am not asking too much could you also do the Toy Story with the blocks with the same names - I understand if you cannot do Annalise because her name is so long - I wasn't sure how many blocks you could have in the picture.

I understand if you cannot do Annalise because her name is so long - I wasn't sure how many blocks you could have in the picture.

:lmao: It seems like I could remember that people can have more than 6 letters in their name since my name is Elizabeth. :lmao:

I tried two different versions. I didn't add any blocks to the first one which makes it a bit hard to read the name but it will match the other shirts. I added blocks to the second. If you look at it side by side one of the other names, it looks very different. I would go with the first but I wanted to give you both options.

These are really good. I would like to make some requests if you have time. Do you have a giraffe background? If so, can I get one with the giraffe background that says Melanie and one with the cheetah that says Isabella? Also one with the tiger background that says Livie and a zebra that says Brian?
I love the pillowcase covers. I made one last time for my girls but these are so cute I think I'll make another one.
Do you have one that is lady and the tramp sleeping or could you do one with all of them on there sleeping (dalmation, pluto, lady and tramp (if you have one) any disney animal that you can think of, my dd loves animals. Could you put her name underneath "Livie" instead of WDW and date? I would also like one of Cinderella with the name Isabella instead of WDW/date.
And 1 more request.. do you have a different snow white?
