AP experts help please!

We're (me & 2 kids) going back to DLP 31 May to 4th June (using our Dream APs which expire 17th July) with friends & probably staying at the Dream Castle.

Our 5 friends will need APs, but haven't decided on Dream or Fantasy yet.

If we sponsor them only 1 of us will then get a free AP as we would need to sponsor 6 people to get 2 free APs.

Firstly, if they only get Fantasy APs would I only get a free Fantasy AP?

Also, does this mean I will miss out on the 18 months for the price of 12 offer that you get on renewal?

We are booked to go again in August, so need new APs by then.

Might we be better sponsoring them to get them 10% off, but not getting the free AP?

Am I getting confused when really it's quite simple??:confused3

When you have an AP, you are basically, by sponsoring 3 new AP purchases, extending your existing AP for 12 months for free. So whatever AP you have now, gets extended for 12 months. It doesn't matter what type of AP your friends buy with your sponsorship.

Its still a better deal getting 12 months completely free, than paying for a new AP and getting 18 months for the price of 12.
