Hi everyone,

Looking for advise. Ok were going back in july myself and my dds 4+5 were taking my teenage cousin also. Idealy we want to stay in the seqouia but at the moment its abit more than i want to pay so unless we get 40% off we will need to reconsider. The other option is staying maybe in the explorer or dream castle ect. and getting APs were going for 5 nights. Were going to be going back in oct mid-term for 5 nights also so will be getting dream passes. I think we should go with off-site/ap but my cousin isnt too gone on the idea:headache: Dont know what we should do the AP makes more sense for me with the kids as we will be coming back for oct and early jan and maybe easter nxt yr as well. With oct/easter been peak prices too.

How do you find the shuttle buses will have abuggy, we always walk when staying on-site as i hate the buses. Which hotel is the first pick up???? Would be really intrested to hear your experiences of off-site good and bad.
Thanks in advance:)

The Explorers is first pick-up and first drop-off for the shuttle buses. They do sometimes split the shuttles for the associated hotels, and have one for the Kyriad/Magic Circus, and one for the Explorers/Dream Castle. This will be advertised on the bus stop at the terminus, and you can get a bus schedule at your hotel.

The buses can be a faff at park closing time, but if you're happy just to browse the shops in the Village for 20 minutes or so, or have your evening meal there, you shouldn't have much problem getting on the shuttle to your hotel after that. It would be better if you can fold up your buggy before you get on the shuttle, it should then make it easier for you all to get on together.

I've stayed at 2 of the associated hotels now, with APs, and will probably be there again in October. I have no problem recommending this way of having a trip to The Magic :goodvibes. Apart from having to be a bit more organised in the mornings if you want to be at the park for EMH (as the buses aren't as frequent - every 20 minutes - as the onsite shuttles), there really isn't anything in it. You can still go visit the onsite hotels etc (in fact, thats what we did in the mornings instead of doing EMH last May) and I think, you can get better value for your money at the associated hotels.

Thanks a mill,

We can fold buggy no problem. Im def leaning towards off-site, i read your post on the other thread regards MC pool sounds great ireally liked the look of the hotel but was worried about the pool with the girls so it great to hear there is a kids pool:thumbsup2 it was also coming in around 100euro cheaper than explorer or dream castle. Now to convince my cousin:rolleyes1
