California Airports

Is there an airport in southern California that is cheaper to fly into.

Here in Canada Toronto is my main airport but sometimes flights are cheaper if I fly from Hamilton

We flew into Ontario California - but from Detroit. We only paid $850 for 4 return tickets at the beginning of February.

San Diego seems to be consistently cheaper than the LA area airports. I was told it was because it was "underserviced"
