I'm going to disney in may 5-13 and trying to make this trip as special as I can for my girlfriend, so was thinkin of maybe doing the ddp, my only concerns would be working my schedule around reservations and thay my trip is in less then 3 months so it'd be too late to make reservations cause I see all thia talk of making them 180 days in advance any comments or suggestions? Thanks!

I think you should try to add it and it on. There are always nice places that you can usually get at the last minute. Biergarten pretty much always has reservations and that's one of our favorites. It would be better to try and get reservations now than to wait and see what is available when you get there.

We purchase the dining plan and use our table service credits at dinner. That way, we can see and do what we want from morning until dinner time. By that time, we are ready for a nice sit down meal.
I have a friend who I helped plan a semi-last minute trip (they are arriving March 6th) and she booked her last ADR just yesterday.
If I were you, I'd go to the Disney Dining Reservations page on the Disney site and play around to see if there are reservations available during your travel dates. This may help in your decision making.

Its also alot easier to find ADR's for a party of two, so I would go ahead and see what is available, then you can make an informed decision.

We (3) are travelling in early May as well- and it is a last minute trip - so we just made ou reservations earlier this week. Many of the more popular places were difficult to get in on the days/times we wanted but, we were able to get something booked for each of the ones we wanted... Le Cellier, Coral Reef, Cinderella's Castle ( had to go w/ Dinner no breakfast times left). We will just keep cheking back for cancellations to improve times between now and our trip. Our last trip we didn't have reservations for Le Cellier and called a couple of days and got lucky and got a 6:30 reservation the day of...so it i possible! Good luck!
