View Full Version : Something humerous I have noticed every night here at the Dolphin....

Although the room housekeepers do not make the towel animal shapes that the Disney resorts leave for guests to find upon return to their rooms, I have noticed something here....

I have turn-down service every night. The bed pillows are usually left in some configuration, for example, three standing upright in a row, with a fourth propped at their end.....then my kid's plush animals gathered around....a Piglet, a Donald, a Pluto, a non-Disney cat, and a Spongebob, all watching television....except for Spongebob! I guess, because he is a Universal character, and not Disney, I always find SpongeBob upsidedown standing on his head and facing the headboard :p :p :p ;)

When we were at the Swan earlier this month, we didn't have any plush animals with us. That's ok though. All Chelsea cared about were the mints they left on the pillows! :rolleyes: :teeth:

That's funny about spongebob. :teeth:

I've never gotten a towel animal at Disney, but on our last trip, the housekeeper arranged DS's new stuffed friends as though they were on a picnic.

She put a towel on the bed and the animals around it. So cute!

PP -- is the service good?

All I seemed to hear about earlier in the season was that S/D had "labor' trouble, strike looming, etc., and that the customer service had deteriorated accordingly.

It sounds like you're having a good experience? have they been prompt w/ cleaning, etc.?

rotflmbo...that is so cute....Kassie has an Elmo and he was always included with the stuff animal in bed. I bet it is because it is a Nick character...lol

SpongeBob must've been a bad boy. That or Disney heard he gets on my nerves so they're punishing him.:p

PandyPaws, they did the same thing to my pillows, too...lol.

Last December everyone was so nice. As I work nightshift, sometimes I would sleep a little late or come back and take a nap. As long as I put the sign on the door, they never knocked on the door to wake me up to clean-up my room. But they always left my room spotless.
