Hi girls!
We are ring shopping and I can't seem to find an asscher cut ring in the stores we are looking so far.
If you have an asscher cut e-ring,, would you mind posting a picture so I can get an idea? Please list how many carats it is.
What are your thoughts on these rings? Are they similar to princess cuts? Princess cuts are not my style.
Thanks in advance!!:goodvibes

DH has an ascher cut diamond in his band...it is amazing! While it is still square like a princess cut diamond, the edges are more round-ish and the facets are cut differently...it is a truly amazing diamond...however, you will need the best color and clarity possible since the facets are so clean cut. It's an amazing cut! We both love it...If I remember when I get home I'll see if I have a pic to post...I think there is one in my PJ...

Thank you! This is helpful info to know, about getting the best color & clarity to fully enjoy the asscher.
I'm still deciding between round and asscher. I'm looking to get between .85-.90 ct (1ct was waay too big for my hand & it felt clunky when I tried it on!). We are trying to spend more money on the cut (very good to ideal) & maybe VS2 or SI1 in clarity, F-H in color. I'm wondering if I might end up with a better looking stone if I go with round....

If you go with a round stone look at a hearts and arrows cut. Also, check out pricescope.com...they have some invaluable information on their boards and you can search for your stone as well...My stone is the same size you are looking for...again, see my PJ...there is a pic of it there...
